Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD is an electronic chart for Garmin chartplotters, with VEU450S coverage for Athens and the Cyclades.
This coverage spans from Vólos to Ythion and includes Athens, the Cyclades, and Izmir in Turkey. It combines Garmin and Navionics chart content and adds tools that help with real navigation and fishing decisions, like depth range shading (up to 10 ranges) and detailed contours with up to 1-foot intervals.
On a compatible plotter, Auto Guidance can calculate a suggested route based on the depth and overhead clearance you set, and shallow water shading can highlight water shallower than your chosen limit. 3D perspectives (MarinerEye and FishEye) and aerial and satellite imagery can add context when approaching ports, harbors, and marinas.
Key features
- VEU450S coverage for Greece, Athens and the Cyclades, plus Izmir in Turkey, covering the coast from Vólos to Ythion
- Integrated Garmin and Navionics chart content for navigation aids, soundings, contours, and harbor details
- Depth Range Shading with up to 10 selectable depth ranges for quick target-depth awareness
- Up to 1-foot contours for tighter bottom detail when navigating or working structure while fishing
- Shallow Water Shading at a user-defined depth to make hazards stand out at a glance
- Auto Guidance routing that uses your set depth and overhead clearance to calculate a suggested path
- 3D views (MarinerEye and FishEye) for perspective above and below the waterline
- Aerial and satellite imagery overlays for visual reference around ports, harbors, marinas, and landmarks
Variants
This chart is offered in multiple formats so it can match how you load charts on your Garmin system.
The chart region and core content remain the same across the range, while the delivery method changes between a preprogrammed card and a downloadable format that is installed to an SD card.
- 010-C0794-00 (Format: microSD/SD). A preprogrammed microSD/SD card format that is meant to be inserted into a compatible chartplotter with the appropriate card slot.
- 010-D0464-00 (Format: Download). A downloadable format that is installed to an SD card using Garmin Express before it is used in a compatible chartplotter.
Compatibility and fit
This cartography is built for Garmin chartplotters that support BlueChart g3 Vision charts. Feature availability can vary by plotter model and software level, so it helps to confirm support for Vision features if you rely on 3D views, imagery overlays, or routing tools.
Installation and setup
For the microSD/SD option, the chart data lives on the card and is accessed through the plotter’s card slot. For the download option, the chart is installed onto an SD card through Garmin Express, then used in the plotter. Keeping the chartplotter firmware current helps with chart display, shading layers, and search and routing behavior.
Use on board
This region card is a solid match for boats running the Aegean, including day boats hopping between islands and cruising sailboats planning longer coastal legs. It is also useful for skippers who want tighter contour detail for anchoring spots, fishing structure, and depth-aware route planning around shallows and restricted water.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
