Overview
The Garmin 010-02365-61 is a 7-inch touchscreen chartplotter and fishfinder combo that puts charts and built-in sonar on one helm display. It runs on 10 to 32 Vdc for 12V or 24V systems, carries an IPX7 water rating for spray and washdowns, and fits in a compact footprint at 7.6 x 5.5 x 2.9 inches with a 1024 x 600 display.
On a Garmin networked boat, it can share data with other compatible gear and bring engine, autopilot, audio, and switching information to one screen. It also has Wi-Fi for ActiveCaptain features like app-based updates and user data sync, which is handy when you do not want to pull the unit to load files at the dock.
Key features
- 7-inch touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 resolution in a 7.6 x 5.5 x 2.9 inch housing
- Input voltage range of 10 to 32 Vdc for 12V and 24V electrical systems
- IPX7 water rating for cockpit spray and routine washdowns
- Built-in 1 kW single-channel CHIRP traditional sonar plus SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonar support (transducer sold separately)
- Supports Panoptix and LiveScope live sonar when paired with compatible components
- Preloaded Garmin Navionics+ chart coverage for the U.S. and Canada, with two microSD card slots for additional mapping and updates
- Networking for mixed systems: Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, and J1939 engine connectivity
- Video input (BNC composite) for compatible marine cameras, plus wireless connectivity for pairing and onboard features
Installation and mounting
Mounting is straightforward for most helm layouts: a bail mount is useful on top of a dash or electronics box, and flush mounting keeps the face clean in a console cutout. The included gasket helps seal a flush installation, and the protective cover is handy when the boat is stored outdoors.
Power draw stays manageable for smaller boats and refits, with typical current draw around 1.1 A at 12 Vdc (up to 1.5 A max at 12 Vdc). Give yourself enough slack behind the dash for service loops and for routing network and transducer cables away from ignition wiring and other noise sources.
Sonar and transducer notes
This unit has sonar built in, but it does not include a transducer. The 12-pin transducer port supports traditional CHIRP along with SideVü and ClearVü scanning when you match it with a compatible transducer, and it also supports live sonar systems like Panoptix and LiveScope when paired with the appropriate components.
An adapter cable is included to help when you are reusing a compatible 8-pin transducer from an older installation, which can simplify upgrades without re-running the entire transducer cable.
Networking and system integration
For modern boats, the NMEA 2000 connection is the clean way to bring in sensors, tank data, autopilot, AIS, VHF, and other backbone devices. The Garmin Marine Network port is used for sharing charts, radar, sonar modules, and compatible camera video across multiple Garmin displays.
If you are tying into older electronics, the NMEA 0183 wiring support helps bridge legacy talkers and listeners, and J1939 connectivity supports engine data integration on compatible setups.
Charts and memory
Garmin Navionics+ mapping is preloaded for the U.S. and Canada, covering common coastal and inland waters right out of the box. Two microSD card slots on the back of the unit let you add charts, move user data between displays, or handle updates without depending on a constant internet connection.
Ports and connections
Connections include 1 Garmin Marine Network port, 1 NMEA 2000 port, NMEA 0183 input and output support, 1 J1939 port, 1 BNC composite video input, 1 12-pin transducer port, and a USB connection for compatible accessories. Wireless connectivity is built in for onboard features and device pairing.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
