Variants
This chart is offered in more than one delivery format.
The chart coverage and charting features stay the same across the options; the difference is how the data is delivered and loaded to your system.
- 010-C0734-00: Format microSD/SD. A preprogrammed chart card that runs directly from the card in a compatible Garmin chartplotter with a microSD or SD card slot.
- 010-D0490-00: Format Download. Chart data delivered through Garmin Express and installed to a compatible chartplotter without a preprogrammed chart card.
Compatibility and fit
You will need a Garmin chartplotter that supports BlueChart g3 Vision and has access to the chart format you are purchasing. For the card version, confirm the unit has the appropriate microSD or SD chart slot.
Some features, including 3D views, satellite imagery overlays, and Auto Guidance, depend on the chartplotter model and software capabilities. If you rely on a specific feature for your navigation style, verify it is supported on your display before purchase.
Installation and setup
For the microSD/SD option, insert the card into the chart card slot and select the chart layer in your map settings. For the download option, follow the Garmin Express steps to download and install the chart to your compatible device.
When using Auto Guidance, treat routes as suggestions and review them against local conditions, tides, and any temporary hazards before running the track.
Use on board
This chart is a practical match for skippers and anglers working the Alaska coast where bars, passes, and shallow edges can change quickly. The 1-foot contours, relief shading, and shallow water shading are particularly helpful when you are trying to read bottom shape and stay on the safe side of your draft.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
