Overview
This Jabsco automatic water system pump snap-in port fitting range is made for connecting Jabsco pump ports to common marine plumbing layouts without replacing the pump head. These fittings are used on freshwater delivery and washdown pump installations where the pump-side connection needs the Jabsco snap-in style and the plumbing side needs a hose barb, male pipe thread, or garden hose connection.
The range covers 1/2"-14 male pipe, 1/2" (13 mm) hose barb, 3/4" (19 mm) hose barb, and garden hose connections, with both straight and 90-degree elbow orientations available. That makes it useful when refitting a pressure water pump, changing hose routing in a tight locker, or replacing a worn fitting during service.
Key features
- Snap-in pump-side connection for Jabsco automatic water system pump ports.
- Connection options cover 1/2"-14 male pipe, 1/2" (13 mm) hose barb, 3/4" (19 mm) hose barb, and garden hose plumbing.
- Straight and 90-degree elbow orientations support inline hose runs or tighter turns near the pump body.
- Listed variants are supplied as port kits in pairs, useful when servicing both pump ports or keeping a matched spare on board.
- Hose barb versions work with flexible reinforced hose installations, while threaded versions suit pipe-thread or washdown hose connections.
- Snap-in layout helps with pump removal, inspection, and winterizing because the fitting locks into the pump port with the pump slide clip.
Variants
Across this range, the variables are the plumbing-side end connection and the body orientation. The pump-side connection remains the snap-in port style, while the outlet side changes between male pipe thread, hose barb, and garden hose connection options.
Straight fittings keep the hose or threaded connection in line with the pump port. 90-degree elbow fittings turn the connection close to the pump, which is helpful in lockers, under sinks, behind panels, or any installation where hose bend radius and service access are limited.
Installation and fit
Before ordering, match the fitting to the existing pump port style and to the hose or pipe already installed on the boat. The 1/2" and 3/4" hose barb versions should be matched to the hose inside diameter, and the male pipe version should be matched to the receiving female thread. The garden hose version is commonly used where a washdown hose connection is part of the layout.
During installation, the fitting should be seated fully in the pump port and locked with the pump slide clip. Hose barb connections should be secured with the correct clamp for the hose type, and the plumbing run should be supported so vibration from the pump is not carried by the fitting alone.
Use cases on board
These fittings are a practical service item for cruising boats, fishing boats, and small craft with pressure water or washdown pumps. They are especially useful when a pump is being replaced with the same port style, when the hose route has changed after a refit, or when an elbow fitting gives better clearance around a bulkhead, tank, or battery compartment.
They are a good match for boat owners and technicians who need a clean port connection without rebuilding the surrounding plumbing. Keeping the correct spare fitting on board can also reduce downtime if a port fitting is damaged during pump service or winter layup.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
