Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD VUS003R (Cape Cod) is an electronic chart for compatible Garmin chartplotters, covering the waters from Gloucester through New London. The coverage includes Narragansett Bay, Block Island, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket Island, the entire Cape, and general coverage of Georges Bank.
It combines Garmin and Navionics data and adds chart layers that help with real decisions on the water, including Auto Guidance route suggestions based on your entered depth and overhead clearance. You also get relief shading and contour detail down to 1 foot where available, which is useful when you are watching structure, edges, and shallow spots near the Cape and islands.

Variants
This chart is offered in multiple formats so you can match how you prefer to load mapping onto your system.
The format is what changes between versions. Coverage and chart content are tied to the VUS003R Cape Cod region, while some advanced views and layers depend on what your chartplotter supports.
- 010-C0704-00: Format microSD/SD. This is a physical chart card for chartplotters with a compatible card slot, which is handy when you want to move the card between displays on the boat.
- 010-D0534-00: Format Download. This version is downloaded to a memory card using Garmin Express, then used in the chartplotter like a chart card.
Compatibility and fit
This cartography is intended for Garmin chartplotters that support BlueChart g3 Vision mapping. Before buying, it is worth confirming your chartplotter model supports g3 Vision features, since some layers like 3D views and certain imagery can vary by device.
If you are using the card format, make sure your display has the right card slot for the included media. For the download format, plan on using a compatible microSD or SD card in a computer to load the chart, then insert that card into the chartplotter.
Installation and setup
For the microSD/SD version, install is straightforward: insert the card into the chartplotter and select the chart layer from your mapping page. For the download version, use Garmin Express to load the chart to a memory card, then move that card to the chartplotter for use onboard.
Once loaded, set your depth and overhead clearance preferences before using Auto Guidance so the suggested paths reflect your boat and the conditions you run in.
Use on board
This region is a good match for skippers who run the Cape and island routes regularly and want more context than a basic basemap gives, especially when planning routes around shoals and tight approaches. It also suits anglers who rely on contour detail and shading to spot edges and structure without spending time bouncing between different chart screens.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
