Overview
The Garmin GC 245/GC 255 is a network marine camera line that adds a live view at the helm for docking and close-quarters maneuvering. It streams 1920 x 1080 video (1080p output supported on select chartplotters) and sends H.264 video over the Garmin Marine Network or Garmin BlueNet.
It is IPX7 rated for exposed mounting locations and hardwired for 12V or 24V systems with 4.5 W power draw. On the display, you can switch between FishEye and standard views, use digital zoom and digital pan, and enable BirdsEye view when the system is professionally calibrated.
This setup makes sense for skippers who want a dedicated stern or bow view on a compatible Garmin MFD, especially when backing into slips, watching a swim platform, or working tight pilings around dusk and nighttime lighting.

Variants
Offered in multiple mounting styles and housing finishes to match both the install location and the look of the boat.
Across the range, the camera supports IP networking on Garmin Marine Network and Garmin BlueNet, uses H.264 video, and runs on 12V or 24V power. Mounting method and housing color or finish are what change between options.
- 010-02892-00: Flush mount, stainless steel housing. Through-hull installation with a low-profile 3.2 in x 3.2 in face and 3.3 in body depth behind the surface, so plan clearance before cutting.
- 010-02892-10: Surface mount, white housing. Compact 2.4 in x 2.4 in x 2.2 in unit that can be oriented dome-up or dome-down when setting the viewing angle.
- 010-02892-11: Surface mount, black housing. Same surface-mount form factor as the white option, with a black finish for boats with darker hardware and trim.
Compatibility and system integration
The camera connects to a compatible Garmin chartplotter or MFD over IP on the Garmin Marine Network or Garmin BlueNet, and the feed can be shared across other compatible networked displays. You can also place multiple camera views on a custom page, including up to four feeds at once on supported displays.
Installation and setup
Power is hardwired for 12V or 24V systems. The included adapter module and cabling help with clean routing back to the network, including an 8 m video coaxial cable and a 500 mm network adapter cable with a small-to-large connector.
Flush-mount installs require a cutout for the through-hull body, while surface-mount installs fasten directly to the mounting surface. After mounting, camera orientation and on-screen guidance lines are configured at the display, and distance markers or BirdsEye view become available when the system is professionally calibrated.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
