Overview

The Garmin Navionics Vision+ NVAE025R is an electronic chart region for Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands for use on compatible Garmin chartplotters.

It combines coastal and inland mapping with chart layers you can tune for the way you run your boat, including depth range shading with up to 10 color-shaded ranges and Auto Guidance+ route planning. A one-year subscription is included for daily chart updates and downloadable content through the ActiveCaptain app.

Garmin Navionics Vision+ adds premium visual layers where available in this coverage area, including high-resolution relief shading, high-resolution satellite imagery overlays, 3D views and aerial photography.

Versions vary between Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+, and between a preloaded microSD/SD card or a download that you load onto your own microSD/SD card.

  • 010-C1223-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format microSD/SD. This is the preprogrammed card option that plugs straight into a compatible chartplotter.
  • 010-D1825-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format Download. The chart data is loaded to your own microSD/SD card using Garmin Express before it goes in the plotter.
  • 010-C1223-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. This is the preprogrammed card option for the Navionics+ feature set.
  • 010-D1825-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. The chart data is loaded to your own microSD/SD card using Garmin Express before it goes in the plotter.
Compatibility and fit

These charts are meant for compatible Garmin chartplotters that support the Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ format. If your display uses a different chart format or is a non-Garmin plotter, this region will not load.

For the card versions, confirm whether your plotter takes microSD, SD, or both. For download versions, plan on dedicating a microSD/SD card to this region, since only one chart should be installed per card.

Installation and updates

Insert the programmed card, or the card you created from the download, into the chartplotter card slot and power up. Once the plotter reads the card, the region will be available in the chart selection menus.

Daily updates and extra content downloads are handled through the ActiveCaptain app during the included one-year subscription. Updates and features downloaded during that period remain on the card, but additional downloads stop when the subscription expires unless it is renewed.

Auto Guidance+ generates suggested routes using the draft and clearance values you enter and should be treated as a planning aid, not a substitute for safe navigation.

Use on board

This region suits skippers running coastal passages around Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands who want current chart data on the plotter. Anglers can also use depth range shading to keep target depths visible while scouting structure and contours.

A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
