Overview

The Raymarine TA119 is a 3-up replacement battery pack and seal kit for servicing compatible Raymarine wireless instrument components. It is used when the internal battery pack needs replacement and the cover seal should be renewed at the same time, helping the instrument go back together correctly after service.

This kit is especially relevant on sailing boats using Raymarine wireless instrument hardware, including the Hull Transmitter and T122 Wireless NMEA Interface. It is also used in Raymarine Maxis installations that require two TA119 battery packs. The package is small and light, with box dimensions of 2 inches high by 4 inches wide by 5 inches long and a listed weight of 0.15 lb.

Key features
  • 3-up replacement battery pack for compatible Raymarine wireless instrument components.
  • Seal kit included so the unit can be reassembled with a fresh seal after the battery change.
  • Applicable to Raymarine Hull Transmitter and T122 Wireless NMEA Interface service work.
  • Also used in Raymarine Maxis installations where two TA119 battery packs are required.
  • Compact spare part that is easy to keep aboard for planned maintenance during a refit or instrument service.
Compatibility and fit

This kit is intended for specific Raymarine wireless instrument hardware, not as a general battery pack for unrelated onboard electronics. Before ordering, match the instrument model and service requirement to the unit being opened, especially on older Tacktick or Raymarine wireless displays and transmitters.

Very early white Tacktick instruments without a rear battery cover are a special case and may not be serviceable in the same way. For wind transducers and remote controls, use the correct Raymarine battery pack for that product rather than assuming this kit fits every wireless instrument in the system.

Installation and service notes

Battery replacement requires opening the instrument or interface housing, removing the old pack, fitting the replacement pack, and resealing the cover. Work in a dry, clean area so the seal area does not pick up salt, dust, or grit during reassembly.

On boats that see spray, washdowns, and regular deck moisture, the seal is just as important as the battery pack. Take time to seat the seal correctly before closing the housing, and check the unit carefully before returning it to service.

Use cases on board

This is a practical maintenance part for sailboats that rely on wireless wind, speed, depth, or NMEA interface data during coastal cruising, club racing, or longer passages. It is a good match for owners and marine technicians refreshing aging Raymarine wireless instrument components rather than replacing the full instrument system.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
