Overview
The TACO Marine GS-2801 is a Grand Slam 2801 top-mounted outrigger base with a 30 degree offset handle for 1-1/2 in. outrigger poles on center consoles and T-tops. It is sold as a pair and is made for offshore fishing boats where the crew needs outrigger control from the top while keeping more hand clearance around the T-top structure.
This mount fits hardtops up to 2-1/2 in. thick, gives the arm a 180 degree swing, and allows horizontal rotation from below the T-top. Cast stainless steel and machined aluminum construction, plus a locking head, make it suited to saltwater trolling where vibration, spray, and repeated adjustments are part of normal use.

Installation and fit
The GS-2801 is intended for T-top and hardtop installations where a top-mounted outrigger base is preferred. The offset handle is especially useful when the surrounding pipework, electronics box, canvas, or hardtop edge leaves limited room for hand movement.
Before installation, check the hardtop thickness, the available handle clearance, and the pole size being used. For 1-1/8 in. poles, the base reducer is required. Proper backing and fastener selection should match the hardtop construction and the loads expected from offshore trolling.

This pair is a practical fit for center consoles and offshore fishing boats that run outriggers for trolling spreads. The top-mounted layout keeps the outrigger base clean on the hardtop, while below-top rotation lets the crew make spread adjustments without climbing above the T-top.

If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
