Overview
The TACO Marine RK-0002PB is a Premium Double Rigging Kit for setting up a pair of outriggers with two lines on each pole. It is made for offshore trolling spreads where clean line control matters, giving anglers the main hardware and rigging cord needed to run two baits from each outrigger.
This kit rigs outriggers up to 22 ft and includes 200 ft of black Dacron rigging cord with a 1/8 inch thickness. It is a practical fit for TACO Marine Grand Slam outrigger systems and TACO Tele-Outriggers, especially on sport fishing boats that need an organized double-rig setup without sourcing each small component separately.
Key features
- Set up for two lines on each outrigger pole, giving the spread more coverage while keeping the rigging layout consistent.
- Supports a pair of outriggers up to 22 ft, a common range for center consoles and offshore fishing boats.
- Includes 200 ft of black 1/8 inch Dacron rigging cord for the halyard lines.
- Single roller pulley shock cords include stainless steel snap hooks and eye inserts for smooth line movement and secure attachment points.
- Adjustable tension release clips help fine tune bait presentation and release behavior while trolling.
- 1-3/4 inch outrigger line stops help manage line position on double-rigged poles.
- Quick-dry mesh bag keeps the rigging parts together between trips and lets wet components air out after use.
- Covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
Compatibility and fit
This rigging kit suits boats using TACO Marine Grand Slam outrigger systems and TACO Tele-Outriggers where a double-line setup is needed. It is especially useful for offshore trolling, spreader bar work, and fishing days where two baits per outrigger help widen the pattern behind the boat.
Before installation, match the kit to the length and layout of the outriggers on the boat, then route the rigging so the pulleys, release clips, line stops, swivels, and snap swivels can move freely without chafing against the pole, hardtop, tower, or gunwale hardware.
Installation and setup
The kit is arranged for a double outrigger layout, so the main job during installation is laying out the Dacron halyard cord, setting the shock cords and pulley points, and positioning the release clips and line stops where they make sense for the boat’s trolling spread. Keeping both sides rigged the same way helps the spread run evenly and makes adjustments easier while underway.
After rigging, check that the halyard lines move cleanly through the pulley hardware and that each clip can be reached and adjusted from the cockpit or working area. Rinse the hardware and cord with fresh water after saltwater use, then let the parts dry before storing them in the mesh bag.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
