ARCO STARTER 5381X is an electric motor powerful enough to turn the engine over due to the high amperage necessary to drive the motor. It has internal barriers that prevent sparks and stray electricity from igniting a fire or causing a catastrophic explosion in aquatic environments. A starter is composed of two building blocks: contactors and overload protection. The drive gear has nine (9) teeth. It fits Mercury/Mariner 150-225 hp engines.
