Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 8013 is a blank surface-mount panel for one 2-3/4" Blue Sea Systems analog or digital meter. It gives a single meter a finished mounting point, and the panel measures 3.75" high by 5.25" wide so you can confirm space on the dash, bulkhead, or panel face before drilling.
Made from 1/8" 5052 aluminum, this panel is a practical way to add one dedicated meter location in a boat's electrical monitoring setup. It works for new installations and retrofit jobs where you want the meter to sit on a rigid panel face with a clean, correct fit.
Key features
- Fits one 2-3/4" Blue Sea Systems analog or digital meter
- Surface-mount format for adding a single meter on a dash, bulkhead, or panel face
- Panel body is made from 1/8" 5052 aluminum
- Overall panel size is 3.75" high by 5.25" wide
- Includes mounting screws and a center adjustment hole plug
Compatibility and fit
This panel is made for Blue Sea Systems 2-3/4" meters, so the first check is the meter size and series you plan to install. The panel handles the front-side mounting, while electrical details such as voltage range, shunt requirements, and terminal layout still depend on the meter paired with it.
For retrofit work, measure the flat mounting area and confirm there is enough room behind the panel for the meter body and wiring. That matters most at tight helm stations and narrow electrical lockers where rear clearance can disappear once terminals and wire bends are added.
Installation and setup
Because this is a surface-mount panel, it suits locations where one reading needs to stay easy to see during routine checks, such as near the helm, by the DC panel, or at a navigation station. The included screws and center adjustment hole plug help finish the installation neatly once the meter is mounted.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
