Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD is the VUS030R Southeast Caribbean chart region for compatible Garmin chartplotters that read mapping from a microSD/SD card.
Coverage runs from Haiti down to Trinidad & Tobago, including Puerto Rico and the Lesser Antilles. It also includes the Colombian and Venezuelan coasts from Barranquilla, Colombia to the mouth of the Orinoco River, including Lake Maracaibo and the Gulf of Paria.
Across this region you get navigation aids, depth contours, tides and currents, and detail for ports and marinas. BlueChart g3 and BlueChart g3 Vision support Auto Guidance route planning (planning tool only), depth range shading for up to 10 depth ranges, shallow-water shading at a user-set depth, and chart detail with up to 1-foot contours. The g3 Vision option adds extra visual layers such as relief shading, satellite imagery overlays, 3D views, and aerial photos.
Key features
- Southeast Caribbean coverage from Haiti to Trinidad & Tobago, including Puerto Rico and the Lesser Antilles, plus Colombian and Venezuelan coast coverage including Lake Maracaibo and the Gulf of Paria

Variants
This chart region is offered in multiple configurations that pair the chart level (BlueChart g3 Vision or BlueChart g3) with the delivery method (SD card or download).
BlueChart g3 Vision uses the VUS030R region code and includes the added visual layers associated with the Vision tier. BlueChart g3 uses the HXUS030R region code and focuses on the core navigation and fishing chart layers for the same coverage area.

Compatibility and fit
Confirm your display supports BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 Vision mapping and has a microSD/SD card slot. Chart compatibility can vary by chartplotter generation, and some older units have limits on chart size and supported features.
If your boat has multiple Garmin displays on a Garmin Marine Network, charts can be viewed across compatible networked displays from the device holding the mapping card. Download versions are tied to the specific chartplotter selected during the install process.
Installation and setup
For the SD card versions, insert the microSD/SD card into the chartplotter and leave it installed while you are using the chart data. For the download versions, use Garmin Express on a computer to install the chart to a microSD/SD card for your registered chartplotter, then insert that card into the unit.
Only one chart can be installed to a single microSD/SD card. When preparing a card for a download install or chart update, use a blank card because the process can erase and reformat the card.
Use cases on board
This region makes sense for boats cruising between Puerto Rico and the Lesser Antilles, running south toward Trinidad & Tobago, or working the Colombian and Venezuelan coastline. It is also a practical pick for crews that want port and marina detail for arrivals and departures across a wide spread of islands.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
