Overview

This Garmin NMEA 2000 backbone/drop and power cable is used to extend a NMEA 2000 network, either by adding length to the backbone between T-connectors or by making a drop connection from a device to a T-connector. NMEA 2000 devices run on 9 to 16 Vdc (12 V nominal), so the network should not be fed from 24 V.
