The core coverage area and chart content are the same for the VCA006R region, while the delivery method changes between a pre-programmed card and a digital download.

• 010-C0692-00: Format microSD/SD. Pre-programmed chart media that is inserted into a compatible chartplotter card slot for use on the water.
• 010-D0386-00: Format Download. Digital chart download that is installed to an SD card using Garmin Express before the card is used in a compatible chartplotter.

Compatibility and fit

This cartography is intended for Garmin chartplotters and chartplotter sonar units that support BlueChart g3 Vision. If your helm has multiple Garmin displays, confirm chart compatibility for the specific model and software version you run, since premium layers like 3D views and imagery overlays depend on the unit.

Installation and setup

For the microSD/SD version, the chart loads from the card once it is inserted into the chartplotter. For the download version, Garmin Express is used to place the chart data onto an SD card, then the card is inserted into the chartplotter for use.

On-the-water use

Depth range shading and shallow water shading are handy when you are working across bars, approaches, and changing tidal ranges, especially around unfamiliar entrances and harbors. Auto Guidance is a planning aid; it helps generate a suggested path, but it still needs the same real-world checks you would apply with local conditions, notices, and your own lookout.

Updates and care

Processing and dispatch

Delivery and tracking
