Overview

The Garmin BlueChart g3 HD HXSA600X is an electronic chart region for Garmin chartplotters that covers South America and nearby waters, delivered either on a microSD/SD chart card or as a download.

Coverage includes the South American continent and key areas such as the Amazon River, Lake Titicaca, Trinidad and Tobago, Easter Island, the Galapagos, San Felix, Juan Fernández and the Falkland Islands (Las Malvinas). It also includes the Panama Canal Zone, the Caribbean coast of Central America to Bluefields, Nicaragua, the Islas de San Andrés, and the Pacific coast of Central America to Las Islas Revillagigedo, Mexico.

On the water, it adds Depth Range Shading for up to 10 depth ranges, Shallow Water Shading at a user-defined depth, and up to 1-foot contours where available. That combination is useful when you are picking your way into harbors, watching your draft around shoals, or reading bottom structure near channels and banks.

Key features
  • South America coastal cartography region (HXSA600X) for BlueChart g3 HD-compatible Garmin chartplotters.
  • Depth Range Shading with up to 10 depth ranges for quicker depth targeting on screen.
  • Shallow Water Shading at a depth you set, so shallow areas stand out based on your boat’s draft.
  • Up to 1-foot contours where available for better bottom detail, including canals, swamps, and port plans.
  • Includes navigational aids, spot soundings, depth contours, tides and currents, plus detailed harbors and marinas.
  • Supports Auto Guidance route suggestions based on your depth and overhead clearance settings when your chartplotter has that feature enabled.
Variants

This chart region is available in two formats, depending on how you prefer to load cartography to your Garmin system.

The chart coverage is the HXSA600X South America region. The difference is the delivery format: a preprogrammed chart card that goes straight into the unit’s card slot, or a download that you install to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express.

  • 010-C1067-20: microSD/SD format. This is the physical chart card used directly in a compatible chartplotter’s microSD or SD card slot.
  • 010-D1144-00: Download format. This version is installed to a microSD/SD card through Garmin Express before that card is used in the chartplotter.
Compatibility and fit

This cartography is meant for Garmin chartplotters that support BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 HD and read charts from a microSD or SD card slot. If your display has more than one card slot, keep the chart card in the slot used for cartography.

Shading tools, contour detail, and route guidance features can vary by chartplotter model and software version, so it helps to verify those functions on your unit before you rely on them underway.

Installation and setup

For the chart card version, insert the card in the chartplotter and select the chart from the chart settings if needed.

For the download version, install the chart to a microSD/SD card on a computer using Garmin Express, then insert that card in the chartplotter. Plan on dedicating a card to a single chart install.

On-the-water use

Depth Range Shading is handy when you are working a specific depth band for fishing or when you want a fast read on safe water while cruising. Shallow Water Shading lets you highlight the depth that matters to your draft, which is useful around marinas, river entrances, and canal approaches.

This region is a solid fit for cruisers moving between Caribbean and Pacific routes, boats running offshore legs along the South American coast, and anglers who want clearer contour detail around structure and channels.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
