Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 8084 is a combined AC and DC circuit breaker panel for boats that need one control point for shore power distribution and 12V DC branch circuits. It is set up with an AC main plus 6 AC positions, a DC main plus 15 DC positions, white toggle breakers, and analog meters for 0 to 150V AC, 8 to 16V DC, and 0 to 100A DC current.
This panel comes with AC and DC buses installed and pre-wired, backlit labels, and ON-indicating LEDs in every circuit position. The face is built from 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum with an immersion undercoating and a two-part polyurethane finish, which makes sense for a cabin, pilothouse, or enclosed helm where salt air and vibration are part of normal use.
Nominal system rating is 120V AC and 12V DC, with maximum panel amperage of 50A AC and 100A DC. Overall size is 10 x 14.75 x 3 inches, so it is worth checking cutout space, rear clearance, wire routing, and meter access before a refit or panel replacement.
Key features
- Combined layout with AC main plus 6 positions and DC main plus 15 positions in one panel
- AC and DC buses are already installed and pre-wired, which helps keep branch wiring organized during installation
- Analog AC voltmeter, DC voltmeter, and DC ammeter give quick system checks without adding separate gauges
- 100A C-Series DC main breaker handles main switching and protection for the DC side
- Reverse polarity indicator on the AC side helps spot shore power wiring faults
- Backlit labels and ON-indicating LEDs make circuits easier to identify in low light
- 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum panel with immersion undercoating and polyurethane finish for long service in damp onboard spaces
- Countersunk mounting holes, detailed installation instructions, and a cutout template help with cleaner replacement work
Installation and fit
This panel suits boats running 120V AC shore power and 12V DC house circuits that need both systems grouped in one location. It works well in cruising boats, sportfish cabins, and pilothouses where the operator wants branch control, voltage checks, and DC current monitoring without splitting the electrical layout across separate panels.
For combined AC and DC installations, an AC isolation cover is required where ABYC compliance applies. Plan the installation around the full panel depth and rear access for the pre-wired buses, and allow a practical mounting location for the DC ammeter shunt so the meter reads accurately.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
