Installation and fit

These slicks mount directly to the bunk contact surface, so they are a good match for trailers where the boat drags against carpet, bare wood, or worn runner surfaces during retrieval. Before installation, check the bunk layout and place the slicks where the hull normally bears weight, rather than treating them as decorative trim.

Because the slick surface lets the boat move more freely, the winch strap and safety chain should stay secured until the boat is ready to launch.
