Overview

The Garmin 020-00200-23 is a boat-install kit for an ECHOMAP UHD 9Xsv combo, built around a 9 inch display format and a GT56UHD-TM transom-mount transducer.

It is meant for the common setup where you already own a compatible ECHOMAP UHD unit and want the right transducer, power/data wiring, and mounting hardware to run it on a boat. Sonar coverage is set up for traditional CHIRP plus ClearVü and SideVü scanning.

Compatibility and fit

This kit is for the 9 inch ECHOMAP UHD sv family. Confirm your display model matches the compatible devices list (ECHOMAP UHD 92sv, 93sv, 94sv, 95sv) before ordering, especially if you are converting an ice bundle for open-water use.

The included transducer is a transom-mount style, so it fits boats where the stern has clean water flow at speed. If your hull shape, brackets, or inboard running gear make transom mounting difficult, plan the transducer location carefully before you drill.

Installation and setup

Pick a display location where the mount can swing freely and the screen stays readable from the helm. When you set the quick-release cradle, leave enough service loop in the cable so you can remove the unit without tugging on the connector.

For the transducer, a level install and careful cable routing make the biggest difference. Keep the run tidy, protect it anywhere it passes through a bulkhead, and check the bracket fasteners after the first few trips to account for vibration.
