Installation and fit
This rub rail is built for installations where a long, continuous run matters, such as gunwale protection on center consoles, runabouts, fishing boats, and other fiberglass boats within the stated size range. The 60' length should be checked against the full perimeter of the boat, including transom corners and any overlap or trimming needed during fitting.
The rail is drilled and countersunk for #8 screws on 8" centers, which helps keep fastener spacing consistent along the hull. Heat may be needed when forming tighter radiuses, especially around corners or sections with more pronounced curvature.
Compatibility and finishing details
The S11-4511 insert is required to complete the assembly and is not included with this rub rail. Confirm the insert, end treatments, fasteners, and any bedding or sealant requirements before installation, especially when replacing an older rail where existing hole spacing or hull shape may not match exactly.
The Frosty White finish gives the rail a traditional look for light-colored hulls and decks. It works well for refits where the goal is to restore protection at the hull-to-deck joint while keeping the boat’s exterior profile neat and consistent.
