Overview
The Vimar 4-button control 2M is a By-me Plus wall control with four buttons in a 2-module format, with RGB LED location in darkness and adjustable brightness. Across this family, the unit is built around a compact control point for bus-based automation and is finished in matt thermoplastic in a grey tone similar to RAL 7024.
For marine interiors, this type of control makes sense where you want several commands in one position and still need the control to stay easy to find at night. It is not the finished front on its own, so the matching button set must be selected according to the chosen variant and plate family.

Variants
This product family is offered in three executions.
The main differences are the execution type and the button family used to complete the front. VM01480 and VM01480.TR use interchangeable 1- or 2-module Eikon, Arké or Plana half-buttons, while VM01480.AX is set up for Eikon Exé Flat/Tondo buttons. The four-button, 2-module layout and RGB LED locator remain consistent across the listed variants.
- VM01480: Standard execution, for use with interchangeable 1- or 2-module Eikon, Arké or Plana half-buttons. This is the regular version for installations built around those series.
- VM01480.TR: Tropicalized execution, for use with interchangeable 1- or 2-module Eikon, Arké or Plana half-buttons. It keeps the same control format while using the tropicalized version of the device.
- VM01480.AX: Flat/Tondo execution, for use with interchangeable Eikon Exé Flat/Tondo buttons. This changes the front-button family and visual style used to finish the control.
Compatibility and fit
This control belongs to the By-me Plus range and is intended to be matched to the correct Vimar front family before installation. If you are replacing an existing control, the important check is the installed button and frame series: Eikon, Arké or Plana for the standard and tropicalized versions, and Eikon Exé Flat/Tondo for the AX version.
The 2-module format helps when panel space is limited and you still need four separate button commands in one location. That can be useful in cabins, saloons, or other protected interior spaces where lighting or automation commands need to stay close at hand.
Installation and setup
This is a bus-connected built-in control, so it should be treated as part of a wider automation system rather than as a standalone switch. The body includes the electronics and locator LED, while the visible button finish is completed with the matching interchangeable front parts for the selected variant.
It suits boats and marine interiors already using Vimar automation hardware, especially where physical button control is preferred over app-only control. The tropicalized version is the relevant option where the project specification calls for that execution.
Shipping

Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
