Overview

The Blue Sea Systems C-Series is a white toggle, double-pole AC circuit breaker range for marine electrical panels where switching and overcurrent protection need to work from the same panel-mounted device. These magnetic-hydraulic breakers are available in 30A, 50A, 60A, 80A, and 100A ratings, with a two-pole layout suited to AC circuits that require both conductors to open together.

Each breaker is rated for 120V AC and 240V AC systems, with a 5,000A interrupt capacity at 240V AC. The trip-free mechanism cannot be held closed during a fault condition, and all poles trip together when one pole trips, which is important on board where AC faults must be isolated clearly and consistently.

The white toggle actuator fits Blue Sea Systems C-Series style panel layouts and gives the helm, cabin panel, or electrical locker a clean breaker position that can be operated by hand. Tin-plated brass 1/4-20 terminal studs, stainless steel #6-32 mounting screws, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C support use in marine electrical spaces exposed to vibration, temperature swing, and service access demands.

Key features
  • Double-pole breaker format for AC circuits where two conductors must be switched and protected together.
  • Magnetic-hydraulic, trip-free circuit breaker type combines resettable protection with manual switching.
  • Rated for 120V AC and 240V AC systems, with 5,000A interrupt capacity at 240V AC.
  • All poles trip together if one pole trips, helping isolate the affected AC circuit in a clear way.
  • White toggle actuator matches C-Series panel styling and is easy to identify in a marine distribution panel.
  • 1/4-20 tin-plated brass terminal studs support secure cable termination in panel installations.
  • #6-32 stainless steel mounting screws and 10,000 switching cycle rating support long service life in onboard electrical systems.
Variants

This product is offered in several amperage configurations so the breaker rating can match the protected circuit and the wire size used in the installation.

The amperage rating changes by variant. The double-pole C-Series format, white toggle actuator, magnetic-hydraulic trip-free breaker type, 120V AC and 240V AC voltage rating, 1/4-20 tin-plated brass terminal studs, and 5,000A interrupt capacity at 240V AC remain consistent across these configurations.

  • 7365, 30A. This lower rating is commonly used where the AC circuit design calls for 30A overcurrent protection in a double-pole panel position.
  • 7251, 50A. This rating fits installations that require 50A protection while keeping the same C-Series white toggle layout.
  • 7254, 60A. This configuration increases the breaker rating to 60A for AC circuits sized and wired for that level of protection.
  • 7256, 80A. This higher-amperage option suits panel locations where the circuit calculation and conductor size call for 80A protection.
  • 7258, 100A. This is the highest amperage configuration in this range and is used where the AC system design calls for 100A double-pole protection.
Installation and setup

Install the breaker in a compatible panel opening for C-Series toggle breakers and torque the terminal studs and mounting screws to the values specified for the installation. The terminal stud torque is 35 in-lb, and the mounting screw torque is 6 in-lb.

Breaker sizing should be based on the continuous load, expected startup current, conductor ampacity, and the requirements of the boat’s AC distribution design. The breaker should not be used as a substitute for proper wire sizing or for checking the rest of the shore power, inverter, generator, or AC panel configuration.

Compatibility and fit

This range is a good match for boat owners, installers, and refit technicians working on AC distribution panels that use Blue Sea Systems C-Series toggle breaker positions. It is most relevant for main or protected AC circuits where double-pole switching is required and a resettable breaker is preferred over a one-time fuse.

Before installation, compare the amperage rating, panel cutout, terminal access, conductor size, and AC system voltage against the vessel’s electrical plan. For mixed AC and DC systems, confirm the exact rating of the selected part number before using it outside the AC application shown for this product family.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
