Overview
The Raymarine i70s is a multifunction marine instrument display range for showing depth, speed, wind, navigation, engine, fuel, environment and AIS data in a helm or cockpit instrument layout. It uses a 4.1-inch TFT LCD screen with 320 x 240 resolution, 16-bit color and 1,200 cd/m2 brightness, giving skippers readable data in daylight, at night and during changing cockpit conditions.
The display runs on 12 V dc vessel power, with a 9 V dc to 16 V dc operating range and protection up to 32 V dc. It connects through one SeaTalkng port and can work with SeaTalkng, SeaTalk and NMEA 2000 networks when the correct adapter cables are used, making it practical for upgrades to existing Raymarine instrument systems as well as new instrument networks.
With IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings, the i70s is suited to exposed helm stations, sailboat cockpits and protected flybridge installations where spray, rain, UV exposure and vibration are part of normal use. The interface supports digital, analog and graphical pages, so the same display can be set up for sailing data, cruising navigation, engine monitoring or AIS target awareness.
Key features
- 4.1-inch sunlight-viewable TFT LCD screen with 320 x 240 resolution and 1,200 cd/m2 brightness for clear instrument data at the helm.
- Optically bonded display construction helps improve contrast and reduces fogging inside the screen.
- Large character display support up to 43 mm, useful when reading speed, depth or wind values from a standing position in the cockpit.
- SeaTalkng connection supports integration with current Raymarine networks, with SeaTalk and NMEA 2000 compatibility available through the correct adapters.
- Data pages can show wind, speed, depth, tridata, engine, environment, fuel and navigation information when the required sensors and network data are present.
- AIS repeater mode can show nearby AIS targets from an NMEA 2000 AIS receiver, including the closest 25 AIS-equipped vessels.
- IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof ratings support use in exposed marine locations subject to spray and washdowns.
- Low 1.7 W power consumption suits sailboats and cruising boats where instrument loads matter on battery power.
- Surface mounting is supported, with an optional trunnion mount kit available for installations that need an angled or bracket-mounted display.
Variants
This product is offered in two configurations: an instrument display only option and a Depth, Speed and Wind Pack. Both are based around the Raymarine i70s multifunction color instrument display.
The main difference is the installation scope. One configuration is for adding the i70s display to a system that already has compatible sensors or network data, while the pack includes the display plus the core wind, depth and speed components for building out an instrument system.
- E70327, Configuration: Instrument Display. This option is the i70s multifunction color instrument display only, suited to vessels that already have compatible transducers, a SeaTalkng backbone or available network data to show at the helm.
- T70216, Configuration: Depth, Speed And Wind Pack. This pack includes the i70s display, wind, depth and speed transducers, iTC-5, 3 m backbone cable, T-piece, power cable and two backbone terminators, giving a more complete setup for sailboats or cruisers adding the main instrument sensors at the same time.
Installation and setup
The i70s is a surface-mount instrument display, so it fits cleanly into a helm panel, pedestal pod or cockpit instrument area. Its compact footprint is useful where older instrument heads are being replaced and panel space is limited.
For analog wind, depth, speed, compass or rudder sensors, the i70s can be paired with an iTC-5 transducer converter. For smart transducer installations, it can also be networked with compatible Airmar DST800 and p79s transducers. Network planning matters: the display needs proper SeaTalkng power, termination and adapter hardware when joining NMEA 2000 or older SeaTalk systems.
Compatibility and onboard use
The i70s works well for sailboats that need wind angle, speed through water and depth in the cockpit, and for powerboats that want a clean instrument display for navigation, engine, fuel or environmental data. It is also useful as a secondary data display near a companionway, flybridge station or nav area when the vessel already has compatible sensors on the network.
Because the interface matches the look and logic of Raymarine LightHouse multifunction displays, it is a natural fit on boats already using Raymarine chartplotters. The display can be customized to show the data that matters most for the way the boat is used, whether that is coastal cruising, club racing, offshore passages or routine dock-to-dock navigation.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
