Overview
The Vimar Arké 19660 Classic cover plate is a 14-module front plate in technopolymer for Arké switch and outlet layouts. It has a matte finish, can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and measures 210 x 161 mm with an 8.6 mm depth, so it covers larger multi-gang installations without adding much projection from the wall or panel face.
On a boat, this type of cover plate makes the most sense in protected interior areas such as cabins, galleys, enclosed helm stations, or other finished panels where the electrical assembly is kept away from direct spray. The plate itself is rated IP00, so it is intended for sheltered mounting positions rather than exposed deck or washdown locations.
Key features
- 14-module Arké Classic cover plate for larger switch or socket groupings
- Technopolymer construction with a matte surface finish
- Horizontal or vertical mounting orientation
- Approximate size of 210 x 161 mm with an 8.6 mm depth
- Halogen-free thermoplastic construction
- Listed for built-in installation, wall duct, and subfloor duct box applications
Variants
This range is offered in four color finishes for the same Arké Classic 14-module format.
Across the listed versions, the format stays the same: a 14-module cover plate in technopolymer with the same overall size and mounting orientation. The visible difference between variants is the finish color.
- VM19660.74: White. A light finish that keeps the installation clean-looking against white devices and lighter interior panels.
- VM19660.73: Ivory. A warmer tone that sits more naturally with cream, beige, or traditional interior finishes.
- VM19660.72: Grey. A neutral mid-tone finish that works well when the surrounding trim is neither very light nor very dark.
- VM19660.71: Black. A darker finish that gives the switch area more contrast against matching controls or darker panel surfaces.
Compatibility and fit
Check the plate against an Arké 14-module layout before ordering. This format is arranged for seven modules across or two vertical groups of seven, and that layout matters when replacing an existing plate on a panel or bulkhead.
For refit work, confirm that the underlying device layout already matches the Arké system and 14-module spacing. Outside dimensions help with planning, but the module format is the key detail for a clean fit.
Installation and setup
The plate uses clamp mounting and can be oriented horizontally or vertically, which helps when the switch bank needs to follow the line of a console, bulkhead, or cabin wall. Installation is straightforward when the devices behind it are already aligned in the correct Arké configuration.
Use on board
This cover plate is a good match for owners, boatbuilders, and marine electricians finishing interior electrical groups where appearance matters as much as access to the switches or sockets behind it. It suits accommodation spaces and enclosed control areas where the panel is protected and the Arké layout is already in place.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
