Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD VEU459S is an electronic chart for compatible Garmin chartplotters covering the Swedish coast from Höganäs to Karlskrona and the Danish, German, and Polish coasts from Århus to Koszalin.
It adds route-planning help through Auto Guidance plus on-chart tools such as Depth Range Shading (up to 10 depth ranges), Shallow Water Shading at a user-set depth, and bottom detail that can show up to 1-foot contours in supported areas. It also includes high-resolution satellite imagery overlays, 3D views (MarinerEye and FishEye), and aerial photography for many ports and marinas.
Key features
- VEU459S coverage: Swedish coast from Höganäs to Karlskrona (including Malmö) plus Danish, German, and Polish coasts from Århus to Koszalin
- Integrated Garmin and Navionics chart content for consistent shoreline, nav-aid, and depth presentation
- Auto Guidance route suggestions based on your entered depth and overhead clearance settings
- Depth Range Shading for up to 10 depth ranges, with user-defined Shallow Water Shading
- Up to 1-foot depth contours in supported areas to help read bottom shape and structure
- High-resolution satellite imagery overlay, plus aerial photos for many harbors, ports, and marinas
- 3D chart views: MarinerEye (above and below) and FishEye (underwater perspective)
Variants
This chart is offered in two formats. Both versions cover the VEU459S region and are intended for use on compatible Garmin chartplotters.
The difference between variants is the delivery format (card versus download). The on-water experience comes from your chartplotter model and settings, including depth and clearance values used for route suggestions.
- 010-C0803-00 (Format: microSD/SD). A preloaded card format that is used in chartplotters with a compatible microSD or SD card slot.
- 010-D0401-00 (Format: Download). A digital format intended for chartplotters that support chart downloads and installation.
Coverage and detail
VEU459S spans key Baltic cruising and coastal routes: Sweden from Höganäs down to Karlskrona (including Malmö), and Denmark through Germany to Poland from Århus to Koszalin. Islands and areas called out within this coverage include Sjælland, Fyn, Møn, Falster, Lolland, Langeland, and Fehmarn, plus select lake coverage in Denmark.
For close-quarters navigation, the mix of detailed contours, shallow-water shading, and photo overlays helps when entering unfamiliar harbors, following marked channels, or planning a day run between marinas.
Compatibility and use on board
This is a chart product, not a standalone GPS. A compatible Garmin chartplotter is required, and the microSD/SD format also requires a chartplotter with a suitable card slot.
Auto Guidance creates suggested routes for planning and reference. It does not replace safe navigation practices, local knowledge, or keeping a proper lookout in changing conditions.
Who it suits
This chart is a good match for coastal cruisers, sailors, and fishing crews running the western and southern Baltic who want port-level detail, photo references for entrances, and contour tools that make it easier to interpret depth at a glance.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
