Overview
The Perko Figure No. 0076 is a cast bronze pipe to hose adapter for connecting matching pipe-size fittings to marine hose in boat plumbing or gasoline fuel system installations. It uses a straight adapter format with a precision-machined hose barb and a cast hex section that gives a wrench a clean contact point during installation.
This range covers 2 inch, 2-1/2 inch, and 3 inch pipe-to-hose sizes, with overall lengths from 2-5/8 inches to 4-3/4 inches depending on the variant. The fitting is part of Perko underwater hardware and meets the requirements of U.S.C.G. Safety Standards for gasoline fuel systems, 33 CFR 183, dated January 31, 1977.
Key features
- Cast bronze construction for marine plumbing environments where corrosion resistance matters.
- Straight pipe-to-hose adapter format for joining same-size pipe and hose connections.
- Precision-machined hose barb helps the hose seat properly when installed with the correct marine hose and clamps.
- Cast hex section gives a wrench a solid contact point and makes installation easier in tight bilge, engine room, or machinery-space locations.
- Available in 2 inch, 2-1/2 inch, and 3 inch sizes to match larger onboard plumbing and fuel-system layouts.
- Meets U.S.C.G. Safety Standards for gasoline fuel systems under 33 CFR 183.
Variants
This Perko pipe to hose adapter is offered in multiple size configurations for matching the pipe side, hose side, and available installation space.
The size, hose connection, pipe connection, overall length, and shipping weight vary by variant. The cast bronze construction, straight adapter style, cast hex, precision-machined hose barb, and U.S.C.G. gasoline fuel system compliance are consistent across these listed variants.
- 0076009PLB: 2 inch pipe size, 2 inch hose size, and 2-5/8 inch overall length. This is the shortest option in this group, useful where the plumbing run needs a 2 inch connection with limited straight-line space.
- 0076010PLB: 2-1/2 inch pipe size, 2-1/2 inch hose size, and 4 inch overall length. This size fits installations that step up to 2-1/2 inch hose and pipe while keeping the same straight adapter layout.
- 0076011PLB: 3 inch pipe size, 3 inch hose size, and 4-3/4 inch overall length. This is the largest option in the group, suited to larger hose runs where the system is built around 3 inch connections.
Installation and fit
Match the adapter size to both sides of the system before ordering. The pipe size and hose size are intended to correspond on each variant, so the fitting should be selected by the vessel’s existing pipe connection, hose inside diameter, and the straight length available around the fitting.
During installation, the hose barb should be fully seated in the hose and secured with marine clamps appropriate for the application. The cast hex helps with tightening the pipe side without using the hose barb as the wrenching surface.
Use on board
This adapter is a practical fit for boat owners, yards, and technicians working on larger plumbing connections where a cast bronze fitting is preferred over lighter-duty hardware. It is especially relevant in bilge, engine room, and fuel-system service areas where the fitting size, material, and compliance standard need to be checked before installation.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
