Overview
The Vimar Arké 19001 is a 1P 16 AX 250 V 1-way switch with a lightable, replaceable rocker button for protected interior electrical panels. It carries an IP40 rating and supports loads up to 200 W for self-ballasted lamps, so it fits the onboard AC side where you want a clean modular switch and not a weather-exposed control.
Within this family, the visible finish changes between gray, metal, and white, and selected versions use antibacterial material on the button surface. For boat refits and new interior fit-outs, it makes sense in cabins, passageways, galleys, or other enclosed areas where the switch is sheltered from spray and washdowns.
Key features
- 1P 16 AX, 250 V switch format for single-location control of compatible AC circuits.
- IP40 protection level for enclosed interior spaces rather than exposed deck or washdown areas.
- Lightable button format helps the switch stay easier to find in dim cabins or on night passages.
- Replaceable rocker button makes cosmetic replacement simpler if the visible piece gets marked or worn.
- Range includes gray, metal, and white finishes, plus selected antibacterial versions for frequent-touch locations.
Variants
This switch family is offered in multiple finish and material combinations within the same Arké 19001 format.
Across the range, the switching format remains 1P 16 AX at 250 V with a lightable, replaceable button. What changes between variants is the visible color and whether the button uses standard or antibacterial material.
- VM19001: Gray finish, antibacterial No. This keeps the look neutral on darker cabin panels and other interior switch positions.
- VM19001.M: Metal finish, antibacterial No. The face has a more metallic look for interiors that use metal-toned trim.
- VM19001.B: White finish, antibacterial No. This is the lightest appearance in the range and suits bright bulkheads and white panel surrounds.
- VM19001.AB: Gray finish, antibacterial Yes. It keeps the gray appearance while adding the antibacterial button material for touchpoints that see repeated daily use.
- VM19001.AB.B: White finish, antibacterial Yes. This pairs the white appearance with the antibacterial button material for frequently used interior controls.
Compatibility and fit
This is a modular interior switch, not a sealed exterior deck switch. On a boat, the practical fit is inside the accommodation or in another sheltered location where the switch is protected from direct spray, saltwater washdown, and standing moisture.
It is a good match when the project already uses the Vimar Arké range and you need a 1-way control point for an onboard AC lighting circuit or another compatible single-pole load.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
