Overview
The Garmin NVEU010R is an electronic chart region covering Spain, Mediterranean Coast for use on compatible Garmin chartplotters. Coverage runs from Lagos, Portugal to La Spezia, Italy and includes the Gulf of Cadiz, Corsica, the Balearics, Gibraltar, and the North African coast from Annaba to Tangier, with major ports and approaches shown throughout the area.
This same EU010R coverage is offered as Garmin Navionics+ (NSEU010R) or as the premium Garmin Navionics Vision+ (NVEU010R). Each purchase includes a one-year subscription that enables daily chart updates and access to downloadable chart layers through the ActiveCaptain app, and any content you download during the subscription period stays available on the plotter after the year ends. SonarChart HD bathymetry can show contours as detailed as 1 foot where available, and Auto Guidance+ can calculate a suggested dock-to-dock route using your selected depth and overhead clearance settings (for planning only and not a substitute for safe navigation).
Key features
- EU010R coverage: Spain Mediterranean Coast with surrounding waters, spanning Lagos to La Spezia and including Corsica, the Balearics, Gibraltar, and nearby North African coastline.
- Made for compatible Garmin chartplotters that support the Garmin Navionics+ and Vision+ cartography format.
- One-year subscription included for daily chart updates and downloadable content through the ActiveCaptain app; downloads made during the subscription remain accessible afterward.
- Auto Guidance+ route guidance calculates a suggested path using chart data and your boat settings (planning purposes only).
- SonarChart HD bathymetry with contours as detailed as 1 foot in many areas, depending on local coverage.
- Depth range shading supports up to 10 depth ranges, with shallow water shading to help visualize areas to avoid.
- Vision+ adds premium layers such as high-resolution relief shading, high-resolution satellite imagery, sonar imagery, aerial photos, side scan images, and 3D FishEye and MarinerEye views where supported.
Variants
This chart region is offered in multiple configurations so the cartography level and delivery format can match your setup.
The coverage area stays EU010R Spain, Mediterranean Coast. What changes is the version (Garmin Navionics Vision+ or Garmin Navionics+) and the format (preloaded microSD/SD card or a download handled through Garmin Express).
- 010-C1237-00: Garmin Navionics Vision+ in microSD/SD format. A physical card that installs by inserting it into a compatible chartplotter card slot and then activating the included subscription for updates and downloads.
- 010-D1839-00: Garmin Navionics Vision+ in download format. Map data is delivered through Garmin Express and then transferred to your compatible Garmin chartplotter for use on board.
- 010-C1237-20: Garmin Navionics+ in microSD/SD format. A preloaded card for the same region with the Navionics+ feature set, with updates available after subscription activation.
- 010-D1839-20: Garmin Navionics+ in download format. Delivered through Garmin Express and transferred to a compatible Garmin chartplotter for the same EU010R coverage.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm that your Garmin chartplotter supports Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography before ordering. For the microSD/SD versions, your unit also needs the appropriate card slot. If you are running an older Garmin plotter that does not support this cartography format, you will need a different chart format for your device.
Installation and updates
For a card-based chart, insert the card with the unit powered off, then boot up and verify the region displays at your normal chart ranges. To use the included one-year subscription, activate it and manage daily updates through the ActiveCaptain app. Premium layers and certain downloads are provided through the subscription where available, and once the included year ends you can continue using what is already on the plotter while new downloads and daily updates require an active subscription.
For the download versions, plan on using Garmin Express for the initial download and transfer. This is a good fit when you prefer not to wait for shipping or you are managing updates from a computer as part of your pre-trip prep.
Use cases on board
This region works well for coastal cruising, charter operations, and fishing runs along the Spanish Mediterranean and nearby crossings where having current chart detail and depth shading matters day to day. It is also a solid match for skippers who plan routes into unfamiliar ports and marinas and want the option to add premium visual layers on a compatible Garmin display.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
