Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD is a VEU490S electronic chart for Greece West Coast and Athens, offered as either a microSD/SD card or a download depending on the format you select. Coverage runs along the southwestern coast of Greece from Vlore, Albania to Athens, and includes detail for areas such as Preveza, Patra, the Peloponnisos, and the Cyclades east to Naxos.
It adds planning and visualization layers that help you make sense of unfamiliar coastlines. Depth Range Shading supports up to 10 depth ranges, Shallow Water Shading can be set to your own depth limit, and 1-foot contours in supported areas make bottom shape easier to read when you are working near structure or picking your line into anchorages.
High-resolution satellite imagery and 3D views (MarinerEye and FishEye) add context around ports and landmarks, which is handy when you are approaching marinas, identifying navigation features, or comparing the chart to what you see on the water.

Variants
This chart is offered in multiple delivery formats.
The difference between variants is how you load the chart onto a compatible Garmin system.
- 010-C0834-00: Format microSD/SD. This is a physical chart card option for Garmin chartplotters that read chart media from a card slot.
- 010-D0424-00: Format Download. This is an electronic delivery option for Garmin systems that support chart downloads.
Compatibility and fit
This cartography requires a compatible Garmin chartplotter that supports BlueChart g3 Vision charts. Confirm your unit supports the Vision layers you care about (such as 3D views, satellite imagery, and shading features) and that it matches the delivery format you plan to use.
If you have more than one helm station or you move equipment between boats, verify each display can access the same region and read the same chart format so you are not troubleshooting at the dock.
Installation and setup
For the card version, insert the microSD/SD card into the chartplotter’s chart slot and enable the desired layers in the chart settings. For the download format, follow the Garmin download workflow for your unit and keep device software current so the map layers load and render correctly.
Auto Guidance is a planning aid, so the suggested route should always be reviewed against local conditions, buoyage, and safe navigation practices before you run it.
Use on board
This chart is a practical match for skippers cruising or fishing along Greece’s west coast, running around the Peloponnese, or hopping into the Cyclades and wanting more chart detail when entering harbors and working near structure.
Depth Range Shading and Shallow Water Shading are most useful when you set them to your own operating depths, so your key depth bands stay readable as you zoom in and out.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
