Overview

The Garmin Navionics+ NSPC027R is an electronic chart coverage area for compatible Garmin chartplotters, with detailed coverage of northern and eastern Australia from Wolcott Inlet to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, including the Great Barrier Reef, Darwin, Cairns, and Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.

This chart region includes both inland and coastal mapping and supports tools like depth range shading (up to 10 ranges), shallow water shading, and Auto Guidance+ route suggestions. A one-year chart subscription is included, which unlocks daily chart updates and downloadable content through the ActiveCaptain app.

Key features
  • Coverage for northern and eastern Australia from Wolcott Inlet to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, including the Great Barrier Reef, Darwin, Cairns, and Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea).
  • Made for compatible Garmin chartplotters that support Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography.
  • One-year subscription included for daily chart updates and additional downloads using the ActiveCaptain app.
  • Depth range shading for up to 10 ranges, plus shallow water shading to help spot problem depths at a glance.
  • Auto Guidance+ suggested routes based on your chosen depth and overhead clearance (planning aid, not a substitute for safe navigation).
  • Vision+ versions add extra on-screen content such as relief shading, satellite imagery overlays, aerial photos, and 3D views where supported.
Variants

This chart region is offered in multiple configurations that vary by chart level (Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+) and delivery format (microSD/SD card or Download).

NSPC027R identifies the Navionics+ version of this coverage, while the Vision+ version is labeled NVPC027R and adds additional overlays and 3D viewing options.

  • 010-C1281-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. A physical card that slots into the chartplotter card reader for onboard use.
  • 010-D1883-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. Digital delivery that installs through Garmin Express on a computer before use on your Garmin device.
  • 010-C1281-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format microSD/SD. A physical card that adds premium layers such as relief shading, satellite imagery overlays, aerial photos, and 3D views where available.
  • 010-D1883-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format Download. Digital delivery with the Vision+ feature set, installed through Garmin Express before loading to your Garmin system.
Installation and updates

For the microSD/SD versions, insert the card into your compatible chartplotter. The included subscription needs to be activated before daily updates and subscription-based downloads are available.

Updates and downloadable layers are handled through the ActiveCaptain app, which syncs chart content to the chartplotter. Content downloaded during the subscription period remains available on the card, but additional downloads stop when the subscription expires unless it is renewed.

Compatibility and fit

This cartography format is intended for compatible Garmin chartplotters. If your unit is older or uses a different chart format, confirm chart support before purchase so the region can be recognized and displayed correctly.

Coverage is the key fit check. If you run between the Great Barrier Reef, the Top End, and down toward Brisbane and the Gold Coast, this region keeps both coastal and inland waters in one chart package.

Use on board

This chart region suits coastal cruising, reef navigation, and fishing where contour detail and depth shading help with route planning and finding structure. It also makes sense for skippers who want the ability to pull down frequent updates when local conditions, aids to navigation, and marina details change over time.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
