Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD VEU460S is an electronic chart for compatible Garmin chartplotters covering southwestern Italy from Lido di Ostia to Rossano, with full detail for Napoli, Palermo and Siracusa, plus Sicilia and Malta.
Chart layers combine Garmin and Navionics data, showing navigation aids, spot soundings, depth contours, tides and currents, and port plans. Extras include Depth Range Shading for up to 10 depth ranges, Shallow Water Shading you set to your own depth, and bottom detail shown with up to 1-foot contours.
Route suggestions can be generated with Auto Guidance using your preferred depth and overhead clearance. Supported areas can also show satellite imagery, aerial photos, relief shading and 3D views, which helps when you are closing the coast or picking your way into a harbor.

Variants
This chart is offered in multiple formats, depending on how you want to load it on board.
The coverage area and chart content are for the VEU460S region; the difference is whether you use a pre-programmed card or install the chart to an SD card from a computer.
- 010-C0804-00: Format microSD/SD. The chart data is read directly from the card once it is inserted in a compatible chartplotter card slot.
- 010-D0402-00: Format Download. The chart installs to an SD card using Garmin Express, and the download is unlocked to one compatible device during setup.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm that your Garmin display supports BlueChart g3 Vision charts and has an available microSD or SD card slot. If you run multiple displays on a Garmin Marine Network, the unit holding the chart card can share the chart layer to other compatible units on the network.
Installation and setup
For the microSD/SD version, insert the card in the chartplotter, power up, and select the chart layer for your map screen. For the download version, use a computer with Garmin Express to install the chart to an SD card, then leave that card in the chartplotter while navigating in the VEU460S region.
Use cases on board
This is a good match for skippers running Garmin electronics while cruising or fishing around Sicilia, Malta, and the coast between Lido di Ostia and Rossano, especially when you want tighter contours and depth shading for planning and approaches. It also helps on harbor arrivals in areas like Napoli, Palermo, and Siracusa where having chart detail alongside imagery can speed up visual cross-checks.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
