Overview

The Garmin 010-02881-01LSP is a 12-inch chartplotter and fishfinder bundle that pairs an ECHOMAP Ultra 2 122sv display with a LiveScope Plus live-scanning sonar system and the GT56UHD-TM transducer. Power input is 9 to 18 Vdc for typical 12V boat systems, and the display housing is rated IPX7 for spray and washdowns.

On the screen, you get a 12.1-inch diagonal touchscreen (1280 x 800) with keyed assist, plus built-in sonar support up to 600 W. The unit can run traditional CHIRP sonar and UHD scanning sonar views, and it supports LiveScope so you can see live movement around the boat when the LiveScope Plus system is installed.

For networking and integration, it includes NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 support, two Garmin Marine Network ports, and built-in Wi-Fi and ANT+ connectivity. Two microSD card slots handle mapping and data storage, including screen recordings.

Key features
  • 12.1-inch diagonal WXGA touchscreen display (1280 x 800) with keyed assist input
  • IPX7 waterproof rating for helm, console, and cockpit installs
  • Runs on 9 to 18 Vdc (typical draw 2.5 A at 12 Vdc; max 5.0 A at 12 Vdc)
  • 600 W built-in sonar support with CHIRP traditional sonar plus ClearVü and SideVü UHD scanning sonar views
  • LiveScope support with the included LiveScope Plus system for real-time scanning around the boat
  • Multi-band, multi-constellation GPS with a 10 Hz receiver for fast position updates
  • NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 compatible for connecting to compatible sensors and onboard data sources
  • Two Garmin Marine Network ports for wired networking with compatible Garmin devices
  • Two microSD card slots for encouraging easy map and data management, including saving screen recordings
Installation and setup

The display can be mounted on the included bail mount for quick removal, or it can be flush-mounted if you want a clean helm layout. With an overall size of 13.4 inches x 9.0 inches x 3.9 inches, it helps to confirm clearance behind the dash for cabling and bend radius before committing to a flush cutout.

Electrical hookup is straightforward on a 12V system using the supplied power/data cable. If your boat is 24V, plan on a regulated 12V supply that stays within the 9 to 18 Vdc input range.

The GT56UHD-TM is a transom-mount style transducer, so it is commonly installed on the transom where it stays clean in the water flow. LiveScope Plus uses a separate transducer and sonar module, and the included mounts support common bow and trolling-motor style installations where live scanning is most useful.

Networking and system integration

NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connections make it easier to pull compatible sensor data onto the chartplotter, while Garmin Marine Network ports support faster wired networking between compatible Garmin devices. Built-in Wi-Fi supports wireless sharing between compatible units and app connectivity for updates and data management.

Wireless sharing is intended for user data such as waypoints and routes, and LiveScope sonar data is not shared wirelessly between two compatible chartplotters. When you need multiple stations to see the same sonar, plan on a wired network approach using compatible hardware.

Use cases on board

This setup is a strong fit for anglers who want one large screen at the helm and a live sonar view at the bow, especially on bass boats, bay boats, and multi-species rigs where you spend time working structure. It also works well on coastal and inshore boats that need clear charting, quick GPS updates, and scanning sonar views for reading bottom and bait.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
