Overview
The B&G H5000 Analog is a range of analogue instrument displays that put key sailing data on a clear dial, fed from an H5000 or H3000 instrument system. The display options cover wind angle (including 0 to 360 degrees), wind speed (0 to 50 KT), boat speed (up to 12.5 KT or 25 KT), depth (to 200 m), plus heading, rudder angle, and a feet and fathoms depth scale.
These are display-only instruments, so they rely on the connected processor and sensors to generate the numbers. They use a front-mounted, low-profile housing with clear night lighting and a toughened glass display window, which makes them a good fit for cockpit and helm positions that see spray, sun, and constant vibration.

Variants
The dial function is what changes across the range. Options include apparent and true wind angle (360-degree scales), a magnified apparent wind angle dial, apparent and true wind speed (0 to 50 KT), boat speed dials (up to 12.5 KT or 25 KT), depth to 200 m, a feet and fathoms depth scale, plus dedicated heading and rudder angle displays.
Match the dial to the data you already have available on your network and the units you want to see at a glance. For example, depth is available with a metres dial or a feet and fathoms dial, and wind can be shown as angle, speed, or both as separate instruments.
Installation and setup
These displays are built for a front-mount installation, so the face sits cleanly on the panel while the body drops in behind it. Before cutting, confirm you have enough clearance for roughly 2.7 in of rear depth, plus room for the network cable bend radius.
The daisy-chain option helps when you are adding multiple instruments at the helm or in the cockpit. Plan your backbone and drops so the wiring stays protected from foot traffic, locker gear, and sharp edges.
Compatibility and system fit
This range is intended for boats running B&G H5000 or H3000 systems, where the processor and sensors handle the measurements and the analogue display provides the quick-read view. Make sure your system includes the right source data for the dial you are choosing, such as wind sensors for angle and speed, a speed and depth transducer for boat speed and depth, and a heading source or rudder feedback where applicable.
Use cases on board
These instruments make sense when you want a fast glance at wind, speed, depth, heading, or rudder without scrolling pages on a multifunction display. They are commonly mounted where trimmers and helmsman can read them from a normal working stance, including the cockpit coamings, pedestal pods, and the nav station on larger yachts.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt off the face with fresh water after heavy spray days and wipe the glass with a soft cloth to keep the dial easy to read. If you ever open panels for service, check the cable run for chafe points and keep connections clean and dry.

Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
