Overview
The Hella Marine 003562015 is a 2 NM stern navigation lamp with an incandescent 12V/10W SV8.5 bulb in a black housing for vertical surface mounting.
It suits yachts and powerboats that use a traditional bulb-based stern light and want something straightforward to service. The snap-lock housing opens for a bulb change without tools, which is handy when you need to swap a lamp at the dock or during a quick turnaround.
The housing and lens are UV and impact resistant plastic, with an IP54 rating for dust and splashing water. Overall size is 75 mm high, 63 mm wide, and 53 mm deep, so it fits well on tighter transoms and stern structures.

Installation and setup
This lamp is meant for vertical surface mounting at the stern. Pick a spot where the lens can be seen clearly from astern without being blocked by an outboard, swim ladder, davits, or rail gear.
Route the supply wires through the base plate and seat the rubber grommet cleanly so the cable is supported where it enters the housing. Use tinned marine wire and heat-shrink terminations, and seal any fastener holes as needed for your mounting surface.
Compatibility and fit
This is a 12V incandescent stern lamp and is typically used on vessels up to 12 m where a 2 NM stern light is required. If you are replacing an older 3562-series stern light, the form factor and bulb style make it a common like-for-like swap.
It is a good match for boat owners who want a compact stern light with a simple service routine and a familiar bulb you can keep as a spare on board.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt off the lens and housing as part of normal washdowns and check that the base grommet stays seated. If the light output drops or fails, open the snap-lock housing, replace the SV8.5 bulb, and confirm the seal is sitting properly before heading out.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
