Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20642 is a 2-module Classic cover plate for Eikon wiring devices, with a square face of about 84.8 x 84.8 mm and a shallow profile around 9 mm. It is the visible trim piece that finishes the electrical point once the 2-module support frame and insert are in place.
For boat interiors, this is the part that brings the switch or outlet location into line with the rest of the cabin, saloon, head, or helm joinery. The range covers a wide spread of finishes, including painted and satin metal looks, glass options, and wood options, so the same 2-module layout can be matched to white panels, darker furniture, metallic hardware, or timber trim.
This is a cover plate rather than a sealed enclosure, so it makes sense in protected interior locations where the vessel already uses the Vimar Eikon platform.
Key features
- 2-module Classic cover plate for the Vimar Eikon series

- Frame treatment changes with the version and may be chromed, white, or gold-toned
- Suited to protected interior switch, dimmer, and outlet points where finish matching matters
Variants
This range changes mainly by finish and face material. The listed options include matte and metallic tones such as Matte Titanium, Matte Silver, Metallic Silver, Metallic Titanium, Metallic Champagne, Matte Anthracite, Anthracite, Satin Nickel, Satin Gold, Brushed Silver, Black Chrome, and several white versions including White, Arctic White, White Ice, and Antique White.
The family also includes glass and wood versions, including Silver Mirror, African Wengue, Italian Walnut, and White Oak. Some versions change the frame treatment as well, so the visible trim can shift from a chrome look to a white or gold-toned frame while keeping the same 2-module format.
Compatibility and fit
Check the support frame and insert layout before ordering. This plate is for the Eikon 2-module format and is not the same as the 1-module, 3-module, or British Standard plates in the wider family.
On board, it is a good match for interior electrical points that need a cleaner finish around the device, especially where the surrounding hardware, panel color, or woodwork has already been chosen and the faceplate needs to follow that look without changing the underlying 2-module layout.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
