Overview

The Blue Sea Systems 8411 is a horizontal 120V AC 8-position distribution panel for boats that need a compact way to manage multiple branch circuits. It carries a 100A maximum panel rating, comes with hot, neutral, and safety ground buses already installed, and includes six 15A single-pole circuit breakers.

This panel works as an extension to an existing AC panel or as a replacement when an older subpanel needs to be cleaned up. Backlit label positions and ON indicator LEDs at every circuit position make it easier to see what is energized when you are checking systems in the cabin, galley, utility area, or electrical locker. The 1/8 in aluminum 5052 panel, immersion undercoating, and two-part polyurethane slate gray finish also make sense in damp marine spaces where corrosion is a constant concern.

Key features
  • 120V AC horizontal panel with 8 circuit positions
  • Six 15A single-pole breakers already included
  • Hot, neutral, and safety ground buses are pre-wired in the panel
  • 100A maximum panel amperage
  • Backlit circuit label positions with ON indicator LEDs at all circuit positions
  • 1/8 in aluminum 5052 construction with MIL-C5541C immersion undercoating
  • Two-part polyurethane slate gray finish for a clean factory-style look
  • Countersunk mounting holes throughout
Compatibility and fit

The face measures 4.50 in high by 10.50 in wide, which suits horizontal installations where panel space is limited but clear access to branch breakers still matters. It is built for 120V AC service, so it belongs in the boat's AC distribution system rather than in a 12V or 24V DC panel layout.

Because the buses are already in place, installation is more straightforward when bringing several AC branch circuits into one panel. That matters on refit jobs, especially when replacing an older panel and trying to keep wiring runs, labeling, and breaker access tidy.

Use on board

This panel fits cruisers, sportfish boats, and sailboats that need a neat way to split shore power or inverter-fed AC loads into individual branch circuits. It is also a good match for refits where the goal is to add a secondary AC panel without moving to a much larger main distribution setup.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
