Overview
The Raymarine A80524 is an adapter plate for installing a Raymarine Axiom 7 multifunction display in place of a legacy e7 or e7D display. It is made for helm retrofit work where the boat already has an e7 or e7D cutout and the owner wants to move to an Axiom 7 display without leaving an unfinished opening around the new unit.
The plate has a powder-coated black finish to match the look of the Axiom display at the dash. It also uses the existing fixing-hole layout for this specific e7 and e7D to Axiom 7 conversion, which helps keep the installation cleaner and reduces the need to rework the mounting surface.
Key features
- Fits retrofit installations from Raymarine e7 or e7D displays to a Raymarine Axiom 7 multifunction display.
- Uses the existing fixing holes for this legacy display replacement, helping preserve the helm surface during the upgrade.
- Powder-coated black finish matches the Axiom display for a neat dash appearance.
- Useful for console, cockpit, or enclosed helm updates where the original display footprint needs to be covered cleanly.
- Mechanical adapter only, with no impact on the vessel wiring, power system, transducers, or network layout.
Installation and fit
This adapter plate is a fit-focused part for a specific Raymarine display upgrade. It belongs between the helm surface and the Axiom 7 display so the newer display sits cleanly where the older e7 or e7D display was mounted.
Before installation, compare the existing display position, dash clearance, cable routing, and rear access behind the helm. The adapter plate helps with the face-side retrofit, but the Axiom 7 display still needs proper clearance, service access, and correct cable routing for power, data, sonar, or network connections used on the vessel.
Use on board
This plate is a practical match for boat owners replacing an older Raymarine e7 or e7D display during a navigation electronics refresh. It is especially useful on molded fiberglass helms, black acrylic panels, or tight dash layouts where cutting a new faceplate or leaving exposed marks around the display would make the installation look unfinished.
Because it is a mounting adapter, it does not change display functions or system compatibility. The electrical and network side of the upgrade should be checked against the Axiom 7 display and the boat’s existing electronics before final installation.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
