The 16 X 23 A3L PROP LONG HUB (854991) is a high-speed series aluminum propeller with an extended hub. The High-speed propeller with a comprehensive hub is an improved version of the conventional propeller with a larger blade area. This propeller not only means higher speed in a fast boat, but it also means that a fully loaded boat will plane faster and use less gasoline. The larger blade area allows for quicker and safer movement.

The drive must have an internally threaded propeller shaft intended for the locking screw (2), which was introduced on late production 270 and 280 drives but is now incorporated as standard on subsequent movements. Older drives can be in some cases with retrofit if the prop shaft is drilled and tapped.
