Sisal is a slender, complex cellular strand of fiber that has long been used as binder twine, cable, and rope due to its high strength and tenacious tenacity. Together with its natural abrading and grease-absorbing properties, these features make it an excellent buffing wheel fabric. A sisal buffing wheel will polish and buff the surface simultaneously. Stretcher strains, orange peel, polishing wheel grit lines, abrasive belt lines, light die markings, and other surface flaws from drawn, stamped, and roll-formed metals are successfully removed or blended with sisal buffs. Sisal buffs are commonly used to polish steel stampings that require semi-bright or bright plating.

Use with SC-37 compound to speed polishing operation and reduce dust. Use 515-7085 buff for final mirror polish. Use with PB-80 for aggressive paint removal. 16" x 7" center 1 1/4" arbor hole. Use with 1 buff between a pair of 515-571 flanges.
