Overview
The Garmin 010-N2235-02 is a remanufactured GPSMAP 86sc handheld GPS with BlueChart g3 coastal charts for the U.S. preloaded. It floats, carries an IPX7 water rating, and uses a 3 in. color TFT display with 240 x 400 resolution for chart viewing at the dock or underway. Power comes from an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated up to 40 hours in standard mode and up to 200 hours in expedition mode.
When you pair it with compatible Garmin gear, the handheld can display real-time boat data from chartplotters and instruments and it can act as a remote for Garmin autopilots and select Fusion marine products. An adjustable GPS filter helps smooth speed and heading indications over swells, which is handy when you are trying to read steady numbers on a moving deck.

Charts and navigation management
This unit keeps coastal chart coverage on board without depending on cell service. It supports routes and track recording for repeat runs, fishing passes, and tender trips between anchorage and shore, with storage for up to 250 routes and a track log up to 20,000 points.
On longer trips, the 16 GB internal memory helps keep charts and saved data together, and a microSD card slot lets you add storage when you need it. The microSD card is not included, so plan on adding one if you like keeping lots of tracks, custom maps, or extra mapping on hand.
Connections and system integration
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and ANT+ make it easier to keep the handheld connected for updates and pairing. When linked to a compatible smartphone, it can show smart notifications on the device, which is useful when your phone stays below or in a dry bag.
For wired connections, it supports high-speed USB and NMEA 0183 compatibility. That combination works well for moving data like waypoints and tracks, and for setups where NMEA 0183 is still part of the onboard electronics mix.
Fit and handling on board
The housing measures 2.65 x 7 x 1.7 in. and weighs 9.59 oz, so it fits comfortably in one hand or a jacket pocket. This is a solid match for boaters who want a handheld navigator that can back up the helm and also stay tied into a compatible Garmin system when the boat is running.
Charging and data transfer use a micro-USB connection, which keeps things simple when you are topping off power from a USB outlet on board. The included lanyard is worth using anytime you are moving around the cockpit, bow, or on a tender ride.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
