Overview
The Lumishore DMX Cables is a range of DMX link cables for connecting Lumishore driver modules in series or extending the DMX cable run supplied with compatible Lumishore EOS light sets. The range covers short cabinet-to-module links as well as longer runs, with available lengths of 0.2 m, 1 m, 5 m, and 15 m.
These cables are used in the control side of a Lumishore lighting installation, where the DMX signal needs to pass cleanly between drivers or reach a driver location without forcing awkward equipment placement. They are a practical fit for helm stations, lighting control areas, equipment lockers, and other dry installation spaces where cable length and routing matter.
Key features
- DMX cable for Lumishore lighting control installations.
- Used to connect Lumishore driver modules in series.
- Can extend the DMX cable run supplied with compatible 2 x EOS light sets.
- Available in 0.2 m, 1 m, 5 m, and 15 m lengths for different routing needs.
- Short 0.2 m option helps reduce extra cable slack where driver modules are close together.
- Longer 5 m and 15 m options support installations where control equipment and drivers are separated across the vessel.
Variants
This product is offered in multiple cable lengths so the installation can be matched to the actual distance between Lumishore driver modules or between the supplied cable and the next control point.
The main difference across the range is cable length. The DMX connection purpose remains the same across the listed options.
- 010-14467-00: 0.2 m length. This short link keeps cable slack to a minimum when modules are mounted close together in the same equipment area.
- 010-14461-00: 1 m length. This length suits nearby driver-to-driver connections where a little routing clearance is needed.
- 010-14462-00: 5 m length. This option works well when the cable needs to pass through a locker, console, or controlled route between lighting components.
- 010-14463-00: 15 m length. This longer run is useful when DMX control needs to reach equipment mounted farther away on larger boats or more spread-out installations.
Installation and setup
Plan the DMX route before pulling the cable so bends, access panels, and service loops are accounted for. The cable should be routed away from sharp edges, high-heat areas, and moving equipment, and it should be supported so vibration and boat motion do not place strain on the connectors.
For clean service access, leave enough length to disconnect a driver module without pulling on the cable, but avoid unnecessary coils in tight electronics spaces. The shorter lengths are useful for neat module-to-module layouts, while the longer options help when the lighting system is spread across separate compartments.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is intended for Lumishore DMX lighting systems that use driver modules and compatible EOS light set cabling. Before ordering, match the required length to the actual cable path on the vessel rather than the straight-line distance between components.
It is a good match for owners, installers, and refit teams working on Lumishore underwater or accent lighting systems where DMX control wiring needs to be extended or linked between drivers without changing the lighting hardware.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
