Overview

The Raymarine E26009 is a P7 low-profile through-hull depth transducer for Raymarine analog marine instrument systems. It is a depth-only transducer that operates at 200 kHz, making it a focused replacement or installation part for boats that need depth data without adding speed or temperature sensing.

This nylon through-hull unit sits nearly flush to the hull, with only 5 mm (3/16 in) extending outside, so it keeps underwater drag low compared with larger housings. Its short body is useful where space under sole panels or cabin flooring is limited, and the right-angle cable exit helps protect the cable in tight bilge and underfloor areas.

The transducer uses a 10 m cable with ISO spade connectors and is commonly used with Raymarine ST40 instruments, along with supported Raymarine analog instrument setups such as i40, i50, ST60, ST60+, and iTC-5 based systems.

Key features
  • Depth-only through-hull transducer for Raymarine analog instrument systems.
  • 200 kHz operation for standard instrument depth readings.
  • Low-profile P7 housing extends only 5 mm (3/16 in) outside the hull to reduce drag.
  • Short installation profile fits areas with limited headroom, including under floorboards and cabin soles.
  • Right-angle cable exit helps keep the cable tucked away and less exposed to foot traffic or gear movement.
  • 10 m cable with ISO spade connectors gives useful reach from the hull location to the instrument wiring area.
  • Compatible with ST40 instruments and supported Raymarine analog depth instrument installations.
  • For depth measurement only, with no speed, temperature, or CHIRP function.
Compatibility and fit

This transducer is suited to boats using Raymarine analog depth instrumentation rather than a direct NMEA 2000 transducer connection. For i70 or i70s displays, it is used through an iTC-5 converter rather than plugged straight into the network as a digital transducer.

The housing is listed for aluminum and fiberglass hull applications. Installation requires a through-hull location with suitable access inside the boat, enough clearance for the short body and cable exit, and a 2 in hull opening.

Installation and setup

As a through-hull depth transducer, it should be mounted where the sensor has clean water flow beneath the hull and remains submerged during normal running angles. Placement away from turbulence, strakes, intakes, and propeller wash helps the instrument hold a steady bottom reading.

The low outside profile makes it a practical fit for sailboats, cruisers, and smaller powerboats where reducing drag and keeping a clean hull shape matter. Inside the boat, the right-angle cable path helps in shallow bilges and tight spaces where a straight cable exit could be exposed to damage.

Use cases on board

This is a good match for owners maintaining an ST40 depth system, replacing a failed analog depth transducer, or adding basic depth sensing to a Raymarine instrument installation. It is especially useful when the goal is clear depth information at the helm without adding a multi-sensor transducer or fishfinder-style sonar setup.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
