Overview
The Hella Marine EuroLED 75 Square is a screw-mount LED downlight that brings warm white (2700K) lighting to cabins and sheltered exterior areas with about 190 lumens of output while drawing under 3W.
It installs into a standard 50 mm / 2 in cutout. The visible face is a 60 mm square, and the lamp body needs about 16 mm of recess depth (about 22 mm overall), which helps when you are working with thin headliners, liners, or hardtop panels.
The lamp is completely sealed to IP6K7 and IP6K9K for wet lockers, spray, and washdowns. Power draw stays under 0.19A on 12V versions and under 0.1A on 24V versions, and it can be dimmed using PWM or voltage-resistive dimmers.
Key features
- Warm white 2700K light output around 190 lumens for comfortable onboard lighting at night
- Under 3W draw with low current (under 0.19A @ 12V, under 0.1A @ 24V)
- Completely sealed housing rated IP6K7 and IP6K9K for wet or dry mounting locations
- Standard 50 mm / 2 in cutout with a 60 mm square face and compact recess depth (about 16 mm)
- Screw-mount fit with pre-wired 120 mm tinned marine cable for straightforward splicing
- Dimming support via PWM or voltage-resistive dimmers (dimmer not included)
- Low EMC noise to help avoid interference with onboard radio communications
Variants
This downlight is offered with two trim finishes and in 12V or 24V versions.
Across the variants below, the light colour stays warm white (2700K) and power draw stays under 3W. The differences are the trim finish and the DC system range: 12V models run on 9-16V DC, while 24V models run on 18-33V DC.
- 015014211: White finish, 12V. A white trim that blends into light headliners, liners, and gelcoat.
- 015014221: Chrome finish, 12V. A chrome-plated trim that matches well with stainless hardware and modern interiors.
- 015014311: White finish, 24V. A 24V option when the lighting circuit is fed from a 24V house bank and you want a white trim.
- 015014321: Chrome finish, 24V. A 24V option with chrome-plated trim for stainless-heavy fit-outs.
Installation and wiring
Plan the layout, cut a 50 mm hole, pull the supply cable through, then fasten the light in place with the screw mount. Leave enough clearance behind the panel for the lamp body, wiring, and strain relief, especially in overhead locations that see vibration.
The light comes pre-wired with about 120 mm of tinned marine cable. Extend with marine-grade tinned conductors and sealed heat-shrink connections, and keep splices accessible for future service.
Electrical and dimming
Match the lamp voltage to your boat: 9-16V DC for 12V installs or 18-33V DC for 24V installs. For dimming, use a PWM dimmer or a voltage-resistive dimmer on the DC feed so brightness changes smoothly without flicker.
Where it works well on board
The 2700K tone works well in cabins, berths, and heads where you want light that feels closer to incandescent at night. The sealed construction also suits cockpit overheads, under hardtops, and sheltered exterior spaces that get spray and regular washdowns.
It is a good match for boats that want one downlight style across interior and exterior areas while keeping power draw modest on overnight anchoring or long passages.
Maintenance and care
Clean the lens and trim with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh solvents on the plastic trim, and check mounting screws occasionally in high-vibration areas.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
