Overview
The Garmin 010-02667-00 is an analog marine camera that outputs PAL composite video (1.0 Vp-p, 75 O) for viewing on compatible chartplotters, video monitors, or onboard TVs. It’s a practical way to keep a live view of key areas around the boat, with low-light visibility rated up to 15 m and an IPX7 water rating for wet environments.
It runs on 12 VDC and draws 80 mA with IR off or 170 mA with IR on. The camera body measures 50.5 mm x 44.3 mm and covers a 95° diagonal field of view, which helps when you want a wider look at the stern, side deck, or an interior compartment.

Installation and setup
Plan the mounting location around what you actually need to see and the cable path back to your display. Because this is a composite video camera, treat the video run like any other analog video connection: keep splices to a minimum, protect connectors from moisture, and avoid running parallel to high-current wiring for long distances.
For helm installations, keep the camera at least 254 mm (10 inches) from a magnetic compass. Operating temperature is -10°C to +50°C, which covers typical on-deck and below-deck mounting spots on most boats.
Compatibility and display integration
The video signal is PAL composite, so the display device needs to accept PAL over a composite input. On Garmin systems, features like reverse image and on-screen rotation depend on the chartplotter model supporting video input and those viewing controls.
When the system supports it, the camera feed can be viewed on a single compatible chartplotter or shared across multiple networked compatible chartplotters, which is useful when you want the same view at the helm and a second station.
Use cases on board
This camera is a good fit when you want a steady view while backing out of a slip, checking the swim platform area, or keeping an eye on a dark engine room without opening hatches underway. It also works well for monitoring entry points or a cockpit corner while you’re docked.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt spray off the housing and lens area during routine washdowns, and wipe the lens with a clean, soft cloth to keep glare and water spots down. Periodically inspect the cable routing for chafe and make sure any deck penetrations stay sealed.
