Overview
The Hella Marine ValueFit Cube is a two-light LED kit used as a deck, spreader, or docking light on boats with 12V or 24V DC systems. It runs on 10-30V DC and uses four LEDs per lamp, drawing 12W each, with measured output of 690 lm (spot) or 600 lm (flood) depending on the version.
Each lamp uses a die-cast aluminum housing with a polycarbonate lens and an IP67 rating for rain and washdowns. The included harness, relay, fuse, and switch make it straightforward to wire as a dedicated auxiliary circuit at the helm, instead of tapping into an existing light feed.
This is a solid fit for skippers who want more usable light on the foredeck, cockpit, or around the dock without jumping to a full-size light bar.
Key features
- Two compact cube lamps with upright mounting brackets, easy to aim on a hardtop, radar arch, spreaders, or cockpit coamings
- 10-30V DC input for typical 12V and 24V boat electrical systems
- 4-LED optics with measured output tied to beam pattern: 690 lm (spot) or 600 lm (flood)
- IP67-rated lamp body with die-cast aluminum housing and polycarbonate lens for wet, exposed mounting locations
- Kit-style wiring with DT connectors, plus relay, fuse, and switch for a clean install and easier servicing later
Variants
This kit is offered in two configurations, listed here as Range options.
The difference between variants is the beam pattern. Spot concentrates light into a tighter cone for more reach, while flood spreads light wider for closer work areas.
- 357204821 Range: Close Range. Spot beam pattern with 690 lm measured output when you want a tighter throw down a dock line or ahead of the bow.
- 357204831 Range: Long Range. Flood beam pattern with 600 lm measured output when you want wider coverage across the foredeck, cockpit, or swim platform area.

Installation and setup
Plan the mounting location so the lamps can be aimed without the bracket hitting a handrail, spreader base, or canvas frame. The housings are compact at about 3.1 in wide by 3.4 in high by 3.2 in deep, which helps on tight arches and spreaders.
Route the harness away from sharp edges and moving rigging, and seal any deck penetrations properly. The relay and fuse are intended to be installed as part of the circuit, with the switch mounted where it is easy to reach from the helm.
Compatibility and on-board use
This is an auxiliary work-light style kit for DC systems (10-30V). It is commonly used to light up the bow for docking, to add spreader light on a sailboat, or to brighten a cockpit work area when handling lines at night.
When mounting high on a hardtop or spreaders, aim the lamps to avoid glare back into the cockpit and to keep light out of the helmsman’s direct line of sight.
Maintenance and care
For saltwater boats, a quick freshwater rinse after washdowns helps keep the lens clear and reduces buildup around the bracket hardware. Periodically re-check fasteners and cable support points, especially after rough runs or trailering.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
