Overview
The Hella Marine Module 70 Generation IV LED Worklamp is a deck and spreader work light that produces 2100 lumens of 6500K white light on 9-33V DC systems while drawing 21W. It is sealed to IP6K9K and IP6K8, so it suits exposed mounting locations where spray, washdowns, and airborne dust are part of normal boat life.
This lamp is offered with Close or Long beam patterns and in black or white housings, so you can match both the throw and the look to your mounting position. It mounts on a 316 stainless steel bracket (upright or pendant) and comes pre-wired with a 1 m marine cable, which helps keep installs tidy on hardtops, masts, arches, and work areas.
Key features
- 2100 lm output with 6500K white light for task lighting on deck
- Multivolt input (9-33V DC) for 12V and 24V onboard systems
- 21W draw (about 1.75A at 12V and 0.88A at 24V) for efficient load planning
- Close-range and Long-range beam pattern options to match near-deck coverage or farther throw
- IP6K9K and IP6K8 sealing for high-pressure washdowns and wet, exposed mounting locations
- Die-cast aluminium housing with CoroSafe coating to slow corrosion in saltwater use
- 316 stainless steel bracket for upright or pendant mounting, plus a pre-wired 1 m marine cable
- 5-year warranty
Variants
This worklamp is offered in multiple configurations so you can match housing color and beam pattern to your boat and mounting height.
Across the range, output is 2100 lumens at 6500K with a 9-33V DC supply, 21W power draw, and IP6K9K/IP6K8 sealing. The differences between variants are the housing color (black or white) and the beam pattern (Close or Long).
- 996476541: Black housing with Close beam pattern. This version spreads light across nearby deck and cockpit areas where you are working with lines, hardware, and gear.
- 996476521: White housing with Close beam pattern. This keeps the same near-field coverage while blending into lighter hardtops, headliners, and white gelcoat.
- 996476551: Black housing with Long beam pattern. This focuses light farther out for spotting objects at distance and for higher mounting positions on masts, arches, or towers.
What’s included
- Module 70 Generation IV LED worklamp with pre-wired 1 m marine cable
- 316 stainless steel mounting bracket
Installation and setup
Mount the bracket to a solid backing surface and aim the lamp before final tightening, since small angle changes make a big difference on deck. Upright and pendant mounting both work, which is useful when fitting under a spreader, under a hardtop overhang, or on an aft-facing arch.
Route the cable with a drip loop and keep connections in a protected location when possible. Use sealed marine connectors and heat-shrink terminations so vibration and spray do not work moisture into the wiring over time.
Electrical and system integration
This lamp runs on 9-33V DC, so it fits typical 12V and 24V boats without a separate converter. At 21W, it is straightforward to add to an existing deck lighting circuit as long as the circuit protection and switching are sized appropriately for the load.
Compatibility and fit
This is a worklamp for deck, cockpit, spreader, and general task lighting. The 6500K output reads as a cool white, which helps when you want crisp visibility while docking, rigging, baiting, or loading gear.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The die-cast aluminium housing is finished with a CoroSafe coating, and the bracket hardware is 316 stainless steel. On mixed-metal mounts such as aluminium spars, using an isolating pad or suitable barrier at the contact points helps reduce the chance of galvanic staining over time.
Use on board
On cruising sailboats it works well as a spreader or foredeck work light for sail changes and night docking, and on sportfishing boats it suits cockpit and transom work areas. It is a good match for owners who want bright task lighting without changing anything about their 12V or 24V DC system.
Maintenance and care
Rinse with fresh water after heavy salt exposure and check the bracket fasteners periodically, especially on high-vibration mounts. If you use aggressive cleaners on deck, keep them off the lens and housing finish and wash down with water afterward.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
