Overview
This Jabsco accumulator tank range is a pressure buffer for boat water systems that helps smooth flow at outlets and reduce rapid pump cycling. The range includes 1 liter and 0.65 liter capacities, with both versions pre-charged to 10 psi (0.7 bar) and rated for a maximum operating pressure of 125 psi (8.6 bar).
Installed on the discharge side of a pressure pump, the tank stores a small reserve of pressurized water and uses an internal bladder to absorb pressure changes. On board, that means steadier flow at a galley tap or shower, less pump chatter, reduced pipe hammer, and better control of hot water temperature when the system uses an instant water heater.
Key features
- Internal bladder helps dampen pressure pulses between the pump and the outlets.
- Reduces on/off cycling, which can lower pump noise and ease battery demand during normal freshwater use.
- Pre-charged to 10 psi (0.7 bar), with pressure adjustment available through the air valve when the pump cut-in pressure requires tuning.
- Maximum operating pressure of 125 psi (8.6 bar) for pressure-controlled marine water systems.
- Can be fitted into new installations or added to an existing pressurized water system.
- Compact tank options support different spaces around the pump, water heater, or service locker.
Variants
This product is offered in two capacity configurations for different installation spaces and water system layouts.
The capacity, construction details, dimensions, and port style vary by variant. Both versions use an internal bladder and are intended to smooth water flow and reduce pump cycling in pressurized water systems.
- 30573-0000, Capacity 1 Liter. This version has a 34 fl oz (1 liter) tank with impact and pressure resistant plastic construction, a nitrile bladder, snap-in port fittings, and dimensions of 13-1/4 in (337 mm) by 4-3/4 in (121 mm).
- 30573-0003, Capacity 0.65 Liter. This mini version has a 21.5 oz (0.65 L) internal volume, a nylon shell with butyl liner and stainless steel fasteners, quick-connect/disconnect port fittings, and dimensions of 8.4 in (214 mm) long by 4.7 in (119 mm) wide.
Installation and setup
The accumulator tank installs in-line on the discharge side of the pump. It should be positioned where the hose run can be secured properly and where the air valve remains accessible for pressure checks. Flexible braided hose helps reduce transmitted vibration and should be rated for the pressure expected in the system.
Before adjusting the pre-charge, switch off power to the pump and open a faucet to relieve system pressure. Tank pressure can then be checked with a standard tire gauge and adjusted with a tire pump at the air valve. After installation, run water through the pump and final discharge point to clear air from the system.
Compatibility and use on board
This range is a practical match for boats with pressure-switch freshwater pumps serving sinks, showers, or water heaters. The 1 liter model suits installations with a little more room and a need for a larger pressure buffer, while the 0.65 liter model fits smaller spaces where a compact accumulator is easier to place near the pump.
The 0.65 liter model may also be used with air-driven pump systems. For any installation, a relief valve set no higher than 125 psi (8.6 bar) on the pump discharge side helps protect the water system if a pressure switch fails.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
