Overview

The Hella Marine RokLUME 380N is a 24 V LED worklight for lighting deck and work areas on vessels running a 24 V DC system. It operates across 20 to 32 V DC (nominal 24 V) and produces up to 7,800 measured lumens at 5,000 K, so the light stays clear for close-up tasks without the harsh blue tint some LEDs create.

This light is sealed to IP 6K9K and IP 6K8 for dust, heavy washdowns, and submersion exposure, and it is built around a die-cast aluminium housing with a NanoSafe coating plus a hard-coated cover lens. The heavy-duty stainless steel bracket and rubber dampening help it hold its aim on boats that see vibration, and the unit includes polarity reversal protection and overheating protection for day-to-day use on working systems.

Key features
  • 24 V platform with 20 to 32 V DC operating range (nominal 24 V)
  • Up to 7,800 measured lumens, 5,000 K color temperature
  • Power draw averages 75 W and can reach 84 W, with current up to 4.5 A
  • Protection class IP 6K9K and IP 6K8 for high-pressure cleaning and submersion exposure
  • Die-cast aluminium housing with NanoSafe coating and hard-coated cover lens
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel bracket with rubber dampening for vibration control
  • 300 mm supply cable with 2-pin DEUTSCH DT connector (mating connector included)
  • Polarity reversal protection and overheating protection
Variants

This light is offered in multiple configurations that change how the beam is shaped on deck.

The electrical platform and construction stay consistent across the range, while the main difference is the light distribution.

  • 996197011: Close-range illumination. This version spreads light broadly across the near field for deck work, loading, maintenance, and other close-up tasks.
  • 996197021: Long-range illumination. This version pushes the beam farther forward for spotting and working at a distance, such as along the bow, dock edge, or forward work zones.
Installation and setup

Mount the bracket to a solid surface where the light can be aimed and locked down without flexing. Leave clearance for adjustment and plan the mounting angle so spray can drain away rather than sit on the lens.

The unit is supplied with a short lead and a 2-pin DEUTSCH DT connector. Keep the connection point out of standing water, support the cable for strain relief, and use marine-grade sealing practices where the wiring transitions into the boat.

Electrical and system integration

This is a 24 V worklight that runs across 20 to 32 V DC. With current up to 4.5 A and power up to 84 W, size the circuit protection, switching, and wire gauge for the run length and the maximum draw.

For clean installs on boats with sensitive electronics, route wiring thoughtfully, keep the light wiring separated from data cabling where practical, and bond and protect circuits in line with common marine wiring practices.

Use on board

RokLUME 380N fits well on hard-working 24 V vessels that need strong task lighting for deck operations, line handling, gear prep, and night maintenance. It also suits yachts with a dedicated 24 V service bus where a high-output work area light is preferred over smaller spreader-style fixtures.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
