Overview
The Lumitec Octane is a 1,000-lumen LED tower and spreader light that runs on 10-30 VDC and draws 1.3A at 12V (600 mA at 24V). It puts out white light at 5000K, uses 16W, and carries an IP67 water ingress rating for typical on-deck exposure.
It mounts with a bracket so you can aim the beam where you need it on a wakeboard tower, hardtop, or spreader position, then lock the angle in place. This is a good match for boats that want a fixed white work light on either 12V or 24V systems without adding a large electrical load.
Key features
- White light output at 5000K with 1,000 lumens for working areas on deck, in the cockpit, and around the swim platform.
- Wide input range (10-30 VDC) for 12V and 24V systems, with published draw of 1.3A at 12V and 600 mA at 24V.
- IP67 water ingress rating for rain, spray, and routine washdowns.
- Rated 16W, helping it fit into typical lighting circuits without oversized wiring.
- Mounting bracket works on flat surfaces or tubing between 2 in and 3 in diameter.
- Set screw locks the aiming angle after alignment, which helps on boats that see vibration and trailering.
- Billet 6061-T6 aluminum housing for a rigid mount on towers and hardtops.
Variants
This light is offered in multiple housing colors to match tower hardware and the look of the boat.
The variations are based on housing color.
- 101331: Product color Black. A clean match for black powder-coated towers and dark hardtop supports.
- 101330: Product color Silver. Blends well with stainless, polished aluminum, and mixed-metal tower hardware.
What's included
- Light assembly
- Mounting bracket
- Set screw
- Mounting fasteners
Installation and setup
Mount to a flat surface or a 2 in to 3 in diameter tube, then run the power wires through the mounting bracket. Predrilling is recommended for the mounting screws, and a 3/8 in wire exit hole is suggested for the wire pass-through. Once the light is aimed, tighten the set screw to keep the beam pointed where you want it.
Electrical and system integration
Connect to a 10-30 VDC lighting circuit and fuse the circuit appropriately for the load. With a standard SPST on/off switch it operates like a normal deck light, and it can be used with an LED-rated dimmer when the dimmer is suitable for the circuit and load.
On-board use
Common placements are wakeboard towers, T-tops, hardtops, and spreader locations where you want white light for docking, rigging lines, loading gear, or checking the cockpit at night. If you run in saltwater or keep the boat in the sun, the sealed IP67 build helps when the fixture is exposed to spray and weather.
Maintenance and care
Rinse after saltwater use and periodically check the bracket fasteners and set screw for tightness. Keep the lens clear of salt film and grime so the beam stays even and useful.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
