Overview
The Lopolight 101-003-FB-REVERSE is a 1 NM combined sidelight that shows red to port and green to starboard from one fixture, with an upside-down horizontal mount and an FB base. It runs on 10-32VDC and draws 1.4W (87 mA at 12VDC, 48 mA at 24VDC), which keeps the load small on both 12V and 24V systems.
This light is sealed to IP68 and comes pre-cabled with 2.5 m of shielded marine-grade cable, so you can route the lead to a dry junction point without splicing right at the base. It is built for marine exposure with a silver anodized aluminum housing (25µ), a PMMA lens, and A4 stainless steel screws, and it is rated for -25°C to 55°C operation.
Key features
- 1 NM combined red/green sidelight coverage from a single unit, with 2 x 112.5° sectors
- 10-32VDC input with 1.4W draw (87 mA at 12VDC, 48 mA at 24VDC)
- IP68 sealing for wet installations and washdowns
- Pre-cabled with 2.5 m shielded marine-grade cable
- Silver anodized aluminum housing (25µ) with PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel screws
- Horizontal mounting with an upside-down orientation; mounting options support install from the top or from the underside
- Minimum feed wire gauge: 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22)
Compatibility and fit
This is a 1 NM navigation light intended for leisure vessels up to 12 meters. As a combined sidelight, it is typically mounted on the vessel centerline where it can show the correct red and green sectors without being blocked by rails, pulpits, or deck gear.
It is a good match for small sailboats, center consoles, RIBs, and sportfishing boats where you want a clean bow install and prefer one combined light instead of separate port and starboard fixtures.
Installation and setup
Plan the mounting position so the light has a clear view out to each side and the unit can be aligned correctly to the vessel centerline. The FB base supports mounting from the top using three through-holes, or from the underside using three M4 x 0.7 threaded mounting points.
Bed the base properly for the mounting surface and route the cable so it is protected from chafe and standing water. If you extend the lead, make the splice in a dry area or inside a sealed junction, and keep the connection serviceable for future troubleshooting.
Electrical and system integration
The light is supplied as a DC fixture for 10-32V systems. Provide circuit protection appropriate for your boat and wiring run, and use marine-grade connectors and heat-shrink sealing where the wiring may see spray or condensation.
The supplied cable length helps keep the transition to your vessel wiring away from the mounting point, which is helpful on bowsprits, pulpits, and slim deck caps where access is tight.
Compliance and approvals
Approved to COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, and LR.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
